Monthly Rentals in Sanhoane

Joaquim really goes above and beyond! He met us and brought us right to the rental, which was exactly as pictured and described. When we got inside, he gave us a small tour of the place, made sure we knew how to use the coffee machine and gave us great recommendations on things to do and see nearby. Plenty of treats were left for us, and his adorable mother, who lives upstairs, even came down while we were sitting on the patio to say hello! I would highly recommend this place to anyone and hope to stay here again soon!

The accommodation is located in a quiet village in the middle of the upper Douro vineyard and surrounded by vineyards. The only service available in the village is a small association under the Parish Council, which operates part-time (which also harms the privacy of the pool). Despite this there is sales of walking bread. The nearest large commercial areas are in Régua, about 15 minutes away by car. The Hosts were very friendly and provided all the necessary clarifications. Accommodation is great for a family break.

my spouse and I were really satisfied. This accommodation is very comfortable and the panoramic view is wonderful. We were welcomed as if we were old friends returning home. Several of them speak French and some speak English. Very few spoke only Portuguese. With a cell phone and the translator, it was still easy to communicate. I recommend this place without hesitation. 😀
