Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Stone farmhouse with pool and spa

Pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants) au milieu de la nature. Rez-de-chaussée de 20m2 avec "cuisine, Salon, Salle a manger" avec TV et une salle de bain. Terrasse couverte de 20m2. L'étage en mezzanine mansardé avec un lit en 140 et deux lit en 80 (les deux chambres ont juste une petite séparation). Au sous sol: lave linge, congélateur et rangement pour votre matériel. Extérieur avec piscine (été) transat, spa (hiver) , jeux pour enfants, barbecue a bois, (ANIMAUX Et RECHARGE VÉHICULE INTERDIT)

Entre murs de pierres ancestrales et soirées au coin du feu , laissez-vous séduire par l'âme unique de ce gîte. Le gîte est équipé de toilettes sèches nettoyées par mes soins tout les jours par l'extérieure. Pour accéder au gîte il y a 5 min à pied mais pas de panique pour les non sportifs j'assure le transport des bagages et des personnes à l'arrivée comme au départ. Électricité solaire limitée à la lumière et charger les portables. Ne pas venir avec sèche cheveux ou ventilateur 😊
