We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

We had a lovely stay. The place is incredibly quiet and easily accessible. The house is very authentic and decorated with a lot of taste. The beds slept really well. The garden has many corners, terraces and places to explore. Our children loved the garden, the pool and the animals very much. The studio is a real added value, it is nice to walk in and discover all the beauty or participate in a workshop yourself. The hosts are very kind and welcoming and offer fine services (workshops, local products, gastronomy). We immediately felt at home here and hope to be able to come back!

You couldn't wish for a better host than Arnaud! Proactively check if everything is to your liking, or inform if help is needed. Via the app to respect your peace and privacy, but take the time for a conversation if you want. The accommodation is new and cozy with an eye for details. We felt right at home there! The thick walls keep heat out and you can have a good night's sleep in the lovely beds and good sound insulation. The location is conveniently located in relation to the many attractions in the area. Much has already been written about it in the introduction to Arnoud and Elodie, but if you want to swim in peace, relax on the side and lie in the shade under the trees with a catering facility, go to Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. The town of Monpazier is also definitely worth a visit! Normally, supermarkets are miles away, but in this place, there is one 900 meters away. Arnoud, Elodie, thank you for the wonderful time!!

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay at the beautifully renovated and well appointed stone gîte was very pleasant. It is surrounded by extensive gardens including a clean and private pool .Sean and Bridget gave us a warm welcome and provided us with recommendation for places to go and things to do. What a great place to relax and enjoy the Périgord countryside.

We had a great couple of weeks here. It proved an ideal location from which to explore the Périgord Vert. A very peaceful spot with a secure garden for our dog and walks nearby. The facilities in the cottage were excellent and as described and we really appreciated the bottle of wine and home made cake on arrival. The pool was very relaxing and comfortable and easily warm enough to swim in late May. There is an (excellent) boulangerie in the nearest village which is walkable and supermarkets for provisions in Brantôme. Several nearby towns had markets. Suzy and Steve (and Alfie) were lovely hosts and we fully recommend it. It was exactly what we wanted.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Great places to discover the region. Lots of activities in the area. Impeccable, warm, and quiet accommodation. The pool and hot tub are a plus. The host is very responsive, welcoming and warm. We had a wonderful stay in the house. The arrival was a little earlier and was no problem. Super friendly people who were always ready and responded immediately. The location was very quiet and enjoyable ! Definitely recommended for unwinding

No complaints. Nathalie is very kind and very responsive. The house is ideal for resting. Located in a quiet area and close to Périgueux and many tourist sites. The sheltered and heated pool on a large terrace is really the highlight of the house. I would highly recommend it.

We had a good week in this quiet cottage. Everything is like the pictures. The view is clear, the countryside is quiet. The cottage is between the owners' house and a meadow with cows. It is very well equipped with cooking utensils but it has neither BBQ nor electric plancha for the outside. We only used one of the two rooms, the bed is large and comfortable. There are toilets downstairs and also in the bathroom upstairs next to the bedrooms. The pool is lovely. There are many walks and visits to do in the surroundings.

Apart from getting very lost trying to find it we had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is really beautiful and perfect for our party of 9 (including a baby & toddler). The pool was really fun and we enjoyed the ping pong table. The house was very well equipped and we found lots to do within 30-40 min drive. Lovely restaurant in Coly (10 min drive) opposite the church and great supermarket in Terrasson (15 min drive). Lots of local markets, Sarlat was especially good. Would definitely recommend this beautiful house and we hope to be back one day!

Great recommendations for Chateau's, Restaurants and things to do. We had 8 nights and could have easily had 8 more and still not seen a fraction of what the area has to offer. Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. Spacious, bright, very clean accommodation with a small sunny balcony and cathedral view. Free parking at the foot of the building. 10 min walk from the city center along the river. We had a great weekend. Air conditioning is a plus in the hot weather. We recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay at Patrick & Jacqueline’s. They’ve done a great job on the property and it’s a perfect location for exploring the dordogne. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We have stayed at a lot of different accommodation over the years and this place is definitely a stand out one! It is so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing and hosts Alicja and Michel are just the loveliest people you could wish to meet. They go above and beyond to make your stay special. Let Alicja cook you dinner, her food is out of this world and Michel is the best waiter, handyman and such good fun to chat to. The only thing we would change is not having to leave 😀 Thank you both so so much , we cannot wait to come back and don’t forget to let us know if you ever want to house swap 😜😜😜
