Exceptional stay with a tour in the nature and in the territory of Santa Maria with Walter, a guide really passionate about his work who transmits good general knowledge about the places. Panoramic view of the incredible jungle from the room and beautiful site in nature with great biodiversity.

The place seemed lovely, very neat, just as indicated in the photos. The hostess welcomed us very well, the premises were clean and beautiful. The apartment had all the amenities we occupied. Highly recommended. From us very grateful to the host and we hope to return in the near future.

The place is awesome! It’s got a great vide, love the pool, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The room is super clean, and comfortable. The place has a great laid back vibe. Ryan is an awesome host! He’s a big surfer and has a bunch of surfboards to rent at a great rate. He also has a quad to rent too. He’s super responsive with anything I need. A lot of the people have come back year after year here. And I am definitely coming back next year! I couldn’t recommended enough.

I was lucky and had the dorm to myself, but it is big and well equipped, as is the kitchen and bathrooms. The pool's wonderful, as is the sitting area and layout. And the A/C was good to have given the humidity. The only suggestion I could make would be the possibility of adding some kind of anti-mosquito device, (like the electric zappers), as they are around, (but then, that's true of all of Tamarindo). Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Simone's place to everyone - and would be happy to stay there again.

What an amazing and beautiful Airbnb. It is a very special, peaceful, comfortable and a short walk to the beach and into town . The grounds are a tropical paradise. The housekeepers and the groundskeeper are extraordinarily kind. I could not have been happier with my stay. It was a wonderful choice. I would not consider staying anywhere else when I visit again. Thank you Ryan for a lively time.

Great location, right in town and very short walk to the beach. Pool is refreshing, Walter is nice and there’s a cute iguana.

Our stay at Mundo Milo was even better than our high expectations. The room was very comfortable and quiet, thoughtfully constructed in a beautiful jungle setting that the owners have thoughtfully preserved and cared for; the food was *very* good; and it was a pleasure to spend time with the hosts. Also, there is a gorgeous beach within easy walking distance. Highly recommended for those looking for a great place that is also secluded.

I highly recommend Casa Mapache to those seeking not only a place to stay but an unforgettable experience in Guanacaste. My stay at Casa Mapache was extraordinary, undoubtedly the best Airbnb experience I've had in Guanacaste. The rooms are simply amazing, meticulously designed, and offer unparalleled comfort. The common areas are impeccable, showcasing an exceptional level of attention to detail. The ease of getting to this place is noteworthy, ensuring a seamless experience from the very beginning. The order of the place is evident, creating a welcoming and organized atmosphere that significantly contributes to the overall quality of the stay. The personalized attention from the owners, especially Ygal and his charming wife, was the icing on the cake. Their dedication and outstanding service made me feel not just like a guest but a part of a unique experience. We love this place! It’s very central, right on the beach. Nice breakfast, friendly staff. Unit 1 was perfect for our kids.

I was looking for a peaceful place, that's what I found. The room is spacious and tastefully appointed. The view from the terrace is beautiful. Plus, a generous, endearing host who doesn't count on their time to please you. The meals were a delight and she made me a special lemonade🫶. I'm sure if I come back to Guanacaste, I'll book a period at Michaela at El nido rojo

Great place. Really comfortable and excellent location.

This was a really cool place to stay. There's only a few cabins available so if you're thinking of going, book quickly. Very private, clean, and peaceful. Service with a smile (even if you lock yourself out of your room in the evening 😊). They have a great restaurant onsite with a delicious brunch menu. The beach is a good 15 -25 min walk (depending on the path chosen), but it's a nice walk, between the mangroves, howling monkeys, iguanas, and the rest of the ecosystem Costa Rica has to offer, it'll only feel like a couple of minutes. Btw, you'll get to see most of it from your cabin too. Restaurants are also 15min walk on average. Avellana is up and coming, and if you're looking for a 5 star all inclusive hotel with all you can eat buffet, party around the pool, and bottomless margaritas, this isn't the place for you... it might open your eyes to a new way of traveling and experiences though. (if you know, you know!) I highly recommend Soul Shine! Super friendly host & staff!!!!

Great stay. Undergoing some construction but not too disturbing. Location is perfect and the breakfast is a lovely touch.

Denise was so helpful answering my questions and giving me recommendations! The hotel is very simple and has everything you need. The free breakfast is a nice touch. The room was clean and the AC worked well. The hotel is not far from the beach and main area of Tamarindo, however, there aren’t sidewalks so it’s not walkable. Denise warned me of this ahead of time. I didn’t rent a car so I took Ubers everyday and they were only $5 each way.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. It was easy to find, has parking, and the location is so close to to the beach. It was really nice using the provided beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards. We also really enjoyed using the common refrigerator and kitchen. The breakfast every morning was delicious! We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome villa with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The shared pool, surrounded by lush vegetation, was the highlight of our visit. The kids had a great time swimming when it was too hot outside. Since the pool is shared, it’s also a great way to meet people staying in neighboring villas. The villa is very close to Playa Grande beach, perfect for catching waves during the day and enjoying breathtaking sunsets in the evening. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, with even more just a short drive away. We initially had some doubts about visiting this area of Playa Grande due to reports of construction, but it was actually quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended for travelers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo (which is just a short boat ride away) and enjoy a tranquility.

My family and I were very satisfied, the house was spacious, in very good condition, the sheets and the house in general were very clean. The location of the excellent house very close to the most beautiful beaches and shopping centers. Super recommended, the attention of the owner is very kind and flexible.
