I’ve stayed at Jose’s residence a few times, and he’s the best host I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. He’s extremely flexible, nice, communicative, reliable, and helpful. I will always and forever stay here for my travels.

The place is beautiful and comfortable. I really enjoyed my 3 nights there. It was very clean and everything is easy to use. You get a taste of Dominican line by talking with the neighbors and it’s also close to the Boardwalk /Malecon where everybody likes to hang out. It is very secure, I felt very safe, the bedroom is in the back so no noise from the street. From the balcony on your left you can see the ocean and palm trees and feel the breeze at night. In the morning you can hear sometimes the neighbors downstairs chatting in an inner courtyard but it ain’t loud . I loved it. You gonna love it too.

It is a pleasure to stay in that complex. However, the outside of the building could benefit from some new painting. Luz was an excellent host. I will return in the near future.

The apartment itself is spotless with 24/7 Electricity and its surroundings are perfect for walking and enjoy the Coast View. José Luis continues to be a fantastic long-term host who takes great care of the property. He’s always respectful and considerate, and I enjoy being his guest. I highly recommend José Luis’s place!

The nicest thing about the apartment wasn't exactly the apartment, it was the magic, warmth and quality of Merchy, Luis and Lidia who made us feel like we were at our lifelong home. Its location was a few steps from the colonial area, we could always walk just past the suspension bridge of the city.

Excellent service and I liked the place, I really recommend it.

Quiet, Private, close to lot of places

our stay here was everything and more!! House is probably best house on the street. The backyard was EVERYTHING!! The neighborhood, although looked sketchy at first look, actually was peaceful and quiet. NO PROBLEMS. If i were going to stay in the Carolina area again I'd stay here again....central to all the areas i needed to visit.

I was happy to visit Mr. Keny's house again because it suit me in location, size and amenities. The owner of the house took great care to ensure that the guests were comfortable during our stay. It was very clean inside. As always, there is everything we needed. For me it is always a reliable place to spend a weekend in the city.

Warm and very welcoming hosts! Location in the heart of the Colonial and accommodation services well above what was imagined for a first trip to the Dominican Republic. Mary and Patrick are always available and not eager to offer the best tips to make the stay even more unforgettable. Enjoyed my stay at the Casita Colonial. The apartment was as advertised and located in a safe area within the Colonial Zone, only a block away from the coast, a short walking distance to many restaurants and a 10-minute walk to the major supermarket…a small market is also across the street. The host was very friendly and accommodated an early check-in, meeting me at the apartment to explain how to use the water pump, clothes washer, centrifuge dryer, etc. She was responsive to all questions that I had and recommended some nice restaurants. I would stay again and recommend to others for an authentic Santo Domingo experience. Thanks!

Spacious and beautiful apartment, with all the amenities for a quiet and comfortable stay. With good parking and security at all hours. The area is very quiet, clean and close to everything. The esplanade is close by for a walk. Orlando accommodated us with some requests that we had in a comprehensive, flexible and friendly way. He was very respectful and helpful. I totally recommend it and we'll be back. Thank you very much!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was unbeatable, it was very easy to get there. Also just 8 minutes away in car from the Colonial Zone. Check in was super smooth and the guys at the reception were very helpful. The apartment was immaculately clean probably the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in, the floor and bathrooms were shiny. The bed linens smelled amazing, the pillows were super soft, and everything felt fresh and cozy. They placed water and coffee, really appreciated :) there is also a little market a few minutes walking in case you need anything to eat or drink, we ordered breakfast one of the days and it was delicious! Our flight was delayed by hrs and Carolina was more than amazing to make sure our check in was smooth. Tons of things to do close by, definitely recommend.

Dani was amazing. He was very responsive friendly and was always happy to help. Despite being delayed on our arrival Dani waited a long time to make sure that everything was ok. I will definitely be staying here again!
