Welcome to Casa do Sapateiro! This green retreat is located in a small village at the foot of Serra dos Candeeiros, an hour's drive from Lisbon. It invites you to enjoy the surrounding calm, cool off in the pool, read a book in the patio room amidst the plants, or have a glass of wine in front of the large fireplace. Being an old house integrated into the village, it was renovated in 2007 and since then enriched by the affection of my parents who made it a true green oasis overlooking the mountains.

Courtyard and a garden with a terrace. Minimart, Café: 3mins walk. Motorway: 2 mins [some noise audible from outside]. 15 mins to Rio Maior and Santarém. BEACHES AND SURFING: 35 to 45 mins – São Martinho do Porto, Foz do Arelho, Nazaré, Peniche. RIVER BEACHES: 35 mins – Olhos de Água or Valada on the Tejo. Airport/Lisbon 50 mins.
