They are 5 walking minutes (going downhill) from the centre of Velas (shopping, cafés, restaurants), and 10 minutes from the natural swimming pools in the ocean. Please take into consideration that the return way on foot includes a steep climb of about 100 meters. It is 700 m until the harbour of Velas.

Casa da Faja de Santo Cristo (House of the Girdle of Santo Cristo)

Fajã's house, cozy, sunny and with a breathtaking sea view. It has a backyard with about 600m2. Ideal place to relax and enjoy the spectacular natural beauty that Fajã de Santo Cristo has to offer. Access to the fajã de Santo Cristo can only be done on foot or by motorcycle 4, by a trail with stunning landscapes of about 4 km. Right now it has 2 restaurants and there is no supermarket! Grocery shopping has to be done in the nearest villas!!

Once a traditional wine cellar, built by Francisco Paulo in 1980, this villa served for many years as a production site and warehouse for the Paulo family's wine. The wine cellar has been remodeled and expanded, but it maintains the traditional elevations and the decoration and details of the times when it was used as a wine cellar. Next to the bathing area, it has a view that invites long nights of conversation.
