House holiday rentals in São Jorge

No words can describe our experience at this amazing vila. It was absolutely amazing: the house itself is very well located, the views are stunning. Marcos and Diana were very helpful in everything we needed. Pico island is an amazing place on earth and to get to know the island like we did was only possible with this 5 star accommodation. We chilled, we had swims in the infinity pool, had great barbecues…I will be back for sure. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Marcos for all the hospitality and kindness.

Great view, modern and well equipped house. Each bedroom has an own bathroom which is great + everything looks like in the pictures. The host was very flexible with the check-in and there were some welcome snacks and water upon arrival. We would come back :)

He's probably the best host that I ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so nice and sincere. I arrived with a laundry list of travel issue none related to his air bnb or really his concern. He even helped me after I checkee out. Seriously nicest man ever. The place is clean and great parking. It's small but perfect for when exploring the island. Do yourself a favor and book it now.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this Airbnb above Madelena. It was a great choice to stay on the outskirts. Stunning view from the house: lovely to spend time outside with a book or just watching the sun set over the ocean and island. The house itself is very comfortable and had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time with Jörg and Plonja! The reception was warm, the communication super uncomplicated. Everything was exceptionally clean - we have not experienced any other accommodation in the Azores that was so well maintained. The beds are very comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen are great, the outdoor area with pool, sauna and sea view is a dream. Despite the proximity of the hosts, you have full privacy. We had a wonderful stay in Nico’s house. The view cannot be beat! The house was spacious and very comfortable for our family of 5. Nico was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations of local restaurants and activities. He also personally met us at the ferry terminal to help us get settled on Pico as well as showing us where the grocery store and bakery was. House was quiet and all the amenities including some Pico treats to greet us. Highly recommend!

Cleide was very sweet and welcoming. The house was very cool. The heated pool is very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Pictures don’t do Justice to this place, if you’re in Pico look no further, it’s next to a vineyard is a big house with all the facilities including a washing machine and the communication with Robert was very good. It’s a 15 min drive to the main area and is close to the beach and a hiking spot. Would love to come back, the sunsets are mesmerizing.

A lovely large place on the quiet end of the island. Near a nice small town and 10 mins walk to a gorgeous swimming hole. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage of Fátima is located in an absolutely quiet area and we felt very comfortable. Everything is available in the household and you can also unwind and enjoy nature: soak up the sun on the terrace, take in the view of the sea, watch lizards, bats & listen to storm petrels at night... Simply wonderful. With a washing machine and everything else, you can linger here forever. We can absolutely recommend this house and will gladly come back if we get the chance!

One of the quietest places I’ve ever stayed. The house is perfectly equipped, the cliffside location is stunning, and you’ll find everything you need here. Just a short walk to the beach and easy access to everything.

We loved this house and how special it was. It’s so beautifully built in the ruins, looking at an amazing ocean view. It had everything that was listed, and the host was super helpful and responsive. They have also been very accommodating with check in and check out times. The only thing to keep in mind is the humidity (we visited in May). Although there is a dryer, things you don’t want to put in there take a really long time to dry when it’s not super sunny outside.

This spot on Pico is absolutely beautiful! Madalena is a quiet town overall, though the bar next door was a little loud a couple of nights—but nothing too disruptive. The apartment is in an ideal location, right in the heart of Madalena. All the tour companies are just across the street, and you can even watch the whale-watching boats head out from the balcony. The host was great—very responsive and accommodating. The apartment was spotless when I arrived, and they were super flexible with check-in. They even let me check in a few hours early and offered to store my luggage in the meantime. Overall, such a great stay—highly recommend!

We had a wonderful, though unfortunately far too short, stay in Ivan's beautiful house. Rarely do Airbnb accommodations look even better than in the photos, but with Ivan everything was just right. Since our airline had canceled the flight to Pico, we arrived much later than planned in the late evening, but Ivan was there for us the whole time via messages and greeted us incredibly warmly even after 10 pm and showed us his wonderful house, where a few homemade treats were already waiting for us. The sea view from the terrace is simply wonderful! Unfortunately, we were far too short on the island to spend more time there and follow more of Ivan's recommendations, but we will definitely come back and would then always want to stay here. Thank you for everything, dear Ivan!

I felt right at home. The house is enchanting and the tranquility and location are unique! Everything you need is there. I was able to observe many different birds. My absolute highlight, however, is the sea view! I was able to watch dolphins and whales and simply enjoy the peace and quiet.

We loved our stay!!! We wish we could have stayed so much longer. It was a super easy walk to the water and the AMAZING piscina natural Simao Dias. They left us a lovely care package and were so helpful and responsive to everything. The view was incredible and the location was absolutely fantastic. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed.

The house is charming and the views are beautiful. We cooked and ate in, and the kitchen was great: plenty of dishes, pots, utensils, etc. Sharing one bathroom might be hard if you have full capacity, but we had no trouble with four adults. We messed up our reservation slightly and the host was so helpful and took care of us. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay, Marianna is a warm and sunny host, her apartment is decorated in her image and the view is superb!! In the evening, you can even hear the incredible cry of the Cory's shearwaters. We were very well hosted. And thank you for the gardening 😉

Michal is very responsive and gentle. The place is beautiful and SUPER clean and modern. We LOVED the place and the view WOW!

Carla’s place is a gem. She is a delightful host who communicates really well and in a timely fashion. The exterior of the place (side balcony with table and hammock as well as the multi-tiered garden full of seating, flowers and fruit trees) was peaceful and ideal. The washing machine worked very well and clothes hung to dry did so very quickly in this warm micro climate along the coast. Road was quiet, and kitchen well equipped. Main bed was firm, other one seemed softer. Very clean and spotless with great linens and towels.
