Great apartment, everything present and clean. Very quick and friendly response Pedro. 2 towels pp we found too few for 10 dg. Had the choice to wash themselves or have extra towels brought. The latter was done the same day! View from balcony is a bit boring, little to experience. Busy street and 12% slope to walk up to the restaurant further up or down to the center. Caniço is not much. We had a rental car every day and 1 x by bus to Funchal (€2.50 pp). Uber back (€16). Park your car on the street. In nearby supermarket Pingo Doce, everything is available, and in the center, a small shop. At the end of the street (up) gas station and pizzeria. Pizza tasted fine, but you don't sit there cozily. We have eaten at Treineira Grill a number of times, which is within walking distance. Just looking for where the waste had to be taken. On floor -1, enclosed space in parking garage, there are containers.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The view is truly stunning and the apartment has a beautiful balcony that you can sit and relax on. Apartment is in a good location - close to shops, restaurants and bars plus easy transport routes into Funchal. The rooftop communal pool is an excellent feature and great for a morning swim to start the day. Apartment was clean and had all the amenities that we needed - we appreciated the welcome gifts that were left waiting for us on arrival. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I was to return to Madeira.

Super host - very responsive and provided excellent recommendations. Great location to explore on foot and by car. Parking no issue, and easy drive to airport. Apartment was tremendous. Balconies allowed us to have breakfast in the sun outside admiring the views. Walk into town about 15 mins down hill - not too strenuous. Lots of Ubers that were inexpensive, so easy to get about. We had x4 full days in Madeira which were full of activities. Palace Gardens and Levarda walks were excellent. Truly wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

This apartment is beautifully furnished and in a very convenient location. It is larger than it looks in the photos and we felt very spoiled while staying there. Our flight was delayed and we had a slight problem finding the entrance to the parking garage but Mariana was very patient with us and kept in constant communication until we found her. A tip for others who need to park a car in the included reserved parking spot: the entrance to the parking garage is right next to the BE FIT gym entrance and directly across from the 5 Sentidos restaurant. The entrance is marked with a purple P. Once we knew that and where the parking spot was, parking was a breeze! The apartment is located above a shopping centre with a grocery store and all kinds of shopping. There are lots of restaurants, bakeries, parks and the old town nearby and easy access to the main roads. The apartment is spotlessly clean and quiet. It has a lovely kitchen with a washing machine. We loved our stay here!

We had an excellent stay in Duarte’s apartment and the Madeira island as a whole! Apart from the accommodation offering everything we needed, Duarte made us feel very welcome and comfortable by providing lots of recommendations about local festivities, restaurants and hiking trails. 😊

We will be talking about the wonderful stay we had at Filip and Renata’s place for a long time to come. The space is perfect for a couple or small family. The bedrooms and bathroom are spacious, the kitchen is exceptionally well stocked (there’s even Tupperware so you can pack sandwiches for a hike), and the outside space is comfortable, quiet and beautiful. Now I know why many other reviewers wished they had stayed in this location for the whole of their Madeira travels! The location is excellent for exploring the island and returning home at night is easy, especially with a dedicated parking space. What really makes this place shine are the hosts, especially Filip who offered many suggestions and treated us to fresh bread and other goodies. He was so warm and kindhearted. This is a gem of a property; do not hesitate to book!

We enjoyed our stay with Ivana and Daniel very much. The apartment is modern, stylish and furnished with a lot of love for detail. We felt really comfortable right from the beginning. The small garden was particularly beautiful, perfect for relaxing, especially with small children. Ivana and Daniel were also incredibly warm and helpful. They gave us many great tips for restaurants, excursions and sights in the area - this enriched our stay. We would come back anytime and can recommend their accommodation from the heart!

It’s not often that you find accommodation that ticks all the boxes particularly when travelling with a large group. My family absolutely loved our stay here during our visit to Madeira. The Airbnb was luxurious and provided a relaxing environment while being close to great restaurants, beaches / pools and shops. Each bedroom was spacious, en-suite and with a sea view over the Atlantic. The apartment in general had everything you could think of to make our stay feel as homely and comfortable as possible. Having access to a 3 car private garage allowed hassle free travel anywhere around the island and was a real plus for my elder grandparents and the babies and toddlers in our group. A big thank you to our attentive Airbnb host for an absolutely memorable stay. We will be back!

The stay was so central to Funchal. It was perfect for everything we needed. The rooftop with the swimming pool is idyllic. Our check in was smooth and we got a full tour showing all amenities. Room was stunning with balcony view. 5* service. Very impressed and would return anytime.

Eva’s place was really lovely! We really appreciated how welcoming the hosts were and helpful throughout our stay. The home was simply superb: beautifully located, quiet and an amazing view (we specially loved all the sunsets we enjoyed through our balcony), with a nice hiking in the neighbourhood and many other ones reachable by car. We would definitely recommend it and be happy to enjoy it in a future visit.

I was alone there and felt super comfortable. The apartment is manageable, which was very positive for me, but it was not cramped. The hostess was super friendly and the apartment very clean. The only downside was a gap under the door, which meant that in the morning there were an extremely large number of small dead flies in front of the door in the entrance. I put a towel in front of the door and the problem was largely solved, so for me it wasn't a big issue. Without a rental car, it could be a bit difficult to get away from there, but if you have one, it is an absolute recommendation. I would come again!

Apartment with beautiful views. Beautiful terrace overlooking the sea with the chance to have a beautiful surf spot. Access to the laundry room is really a plus. Every morning we could buy bread and pastries for breakfast at the baker's truck. Kristjan was very responsive to all our questions. I highly recommend this accommodation and we will return with great pleasure

A fantastic stay with Emanuel for 3 weeks , my longest stay at an Air BnB and was perfect for what i was looking for. The place is exactly as described and as in the pictures. Emanuel and his mum were great with communicating and making sure all questions were answered. The location was perfect and everything was within walking distance, most day trips would pick up from outside the apartment. Would 100% stay here again when I come back and cannot recommend them enough

The accommodation was beautifully located in a very quiet location with a breathtaking view. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. Calheta beach is 5 minutes by car and highly recommended. We also found the private parking lot great. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

upon arrival we were very well received by Ana. She explained everything to us and we were even able to arrive a little early at the apartment. She gave us tips for sightseeing, dining, and also told us the nearest supermarket. Ana was at her best!!! The apartment is perfect, there is everything you need even more than we imagined. Nice apartment to stay for a long holiday with beautiful views of Praira Formosa. Infinity pool, ample space, well equipped kitchen and washing machine. Free parking in the apartment's garage. The location was perfect being just outside of Funchal with easy access to ER 101. The apartment sits up on the hill with a short walk to the promenade; you can walk either towards Camara de Lobos or Funchal. Lots of restaurants on the promenade and on Estrada Monumental. There is a supermarket (Continente) just 2-3 blocks down the street from the apartment. The local host met us at the apartment to show us around. The apartment was clean and comfortable coming home after a day of hiking (purchase trail tickets 3E on Simplifica for all the PR# trails). A car is a must if you are going to hike and see Maderia. No Jacuzzi and gym is old and poorly equipped.

This was a beautiful Airbnb with a great patio. Tons of wonderful restaurants were in walking distance. Paulo was a very friendly host and even delivered fresh bread every morning!
