Great house, even better garden! We had a very pleasant stay.

We absolutely loved the location, it’s so peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is quite basic, but it has everything you need for cooking and a comfortable stay. There is a slight old and damp smell, especially in the cupboards, but it didn’t bother us much as we spent most of our time outdoors. The house is clean, and the bed is comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and flexible. My daughter and I didn’t want to leave this little paradise. I would absolutely return with my family.

The house was a wonderful place for us and our family. Plenty of room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view was spectacular and the pool and patio were an excellent spot to relax.

This was a delightful place to stay. Very private and so many facilities for a small place. Beautiful views, swimming pool and honesty bar. A total hidden gem.

We had a great time at Vitalina's house! We were 9 people and there was everything necessary for a pleasant stay. Sufficient towels and dishes in the kitchen as well as space on the property for two cars. It was really nice that the table was set when we arrived. We immediately felt at home! We also used her rental car. This service was great and we would do it again at any time.

The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. We really felt at home there. Highly recommend the terrace for breakfasts or dinners. The house is in a quiet area, which we enjoyed.

The house was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was well prepared for our arrival, and the check-in process was smooth and easy. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the whole place had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, yet close to local shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space (great for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening). The host was extremely friendly and responsive, always ready to help or answer any questions. You can really tell they care about their guests and put a lot of thought into making the stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay! The view, pool, and outdoor areas made it feel like you were at your own private resort. We were also blown away by how spotless the entire home was and with the amount of kitchen supplies provided it was as though you were cooking from your own kitchen! While the location was about 15 minutes away from town, there were several local restaurants nearby that had really great food. We did a lot of driving around the island during our stay and found it to be a very central, yet private, location. Olga and Alexander were also amazing hosts. Always very communicative and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a home during their trip to Madeira :)

it was a really very nice big house with a paradisical balcony and a magnificent view over the whole village at less than 300 meters high. You have to have a car very clearly,otherwise it could be problematic. It actually gets cold at night and in the morning, but there are at least mobile heating devices in the apartment. Unfortunately, we also noticed cockroaches in the direct reference, but after we removed 5 pieces, we didn't have a problem with it anymore

Our stay here was simply amazing. We had a little issue with check in due to lost keys, however this was sorted out for us and even re compensated us later on. Amazing apartment , very quiet location with beautiful views. Very spacious and beautiful interior with enough space for 7 guests.

We had a pleasant stay at Ivone and Garry's. The apartment has an amazing view of the sea and everything you need. We will definitely come back for a future stay in Madeira!

Quiet, comfortable Airbnb with everything we needed for our stay - located in the most surreal surroundings. Will struggle to find better in this part of Madeira. The terrace is an absolute gem - highly recommend

Really nice place in a great location. It was clean, had all the necessary amenities, and the hosts were super friendly and supportive throughout our stay. The only minor downsides were that it was a bit tricky to find at first, and the shower temperature fluctuated a bit. Nothing major though—overall, a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend!

The hosts were super responsive and amazingly offered us an earlier check-in time as their cleaning had finished earlier that day. The place was spotless and well stocked with everything you'd need to feel at home and having a dishwasher & washing/drying facilities made things feel so relaxed and the BBQ & hot tube was great to have for the evenings. The view was beautiful, and the house was a perfect size and location for a little romantic getaway. It isn't a long journey to get to areas like Funchal or Porto Monis, and there's a large number of PR walks nearby, too.

If you are going to stay in Madeira , this is one of the nicest places you can stay in. The setting of this home is beautiful, and is located in a very pretty town with some great choices of restaurants and bars. The terrace has a stunning view and the kitchen space has everything you need for cooking should you want to do that. Bed is really comfy after days of exploring. We managed to park in the car park in the town every day - feels a hire car is a great asset in Madeira. Alessio is extremely friendly and makes you feel right at home when you arrive.

Our stay at this stunning penthouse in Madeira was truly unforgettable. After a stressful experience with a different host, we were in desperate need of a safe and welcoming place—and Jose went above and beyond. Not only was the apartment impeccable with absolutely breathtaking views of the ocean and city, but the host was also incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. He allowed us to check in immediately after booking, which was a lifesaver for our family. We were greeted with warmth and kindness that instantly put us at ease and turned our trip around. The penthouse itself is spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, and offers one of the best views you can imagine of the ocean. We can’t thank the host enough for their hospitality. Highly, highly recommend this place—it truly felt like a hidden gem and a peaceful escape. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Mário's accommodation was exactly as described and fully matched the photos - in reality it was even more beautiful! The apartment is spacious, with two comfortable bedrooms and two modern, very clean bathrooms – ideal for two couples or a family. We were warmly welcomed on arrival with small delicious surprises, everything was perfectly prepared and sparkling clean. We were particularly impressed by the fantastic view that you can enjoy from the terrace and the living area - a real highlight! The furnishings leave nothing to be desired: a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a quiet location. We enjoyed every moment and would come back without hesitation. Very clear recommendation!

The Chateau was exactly as described on AirBnb. With top end appliances, Miele and SMEG and more. The gardens were lush, extensive and private with much birdsong. It’s a 5 Star from us both and we highly recommended it especially for hiking. We did many long walks from home. Richard and Martine were perfect host, very attentive and helpful. The view was absolutely stunning, and the pool quickly became one of our favorite features. It truly felt like a home away from home. Communication with the hosts was smooth and pleasant throughout. Karol place is definitely a home away home, you relax soon as you step through the door. Very peaceful which is what we like. But also not far from anything. Communication with Karol was great. The lavada walks that start about 2 min up from the villa are definitely worth a stroll, one will take you to Panoest cafe and the other way to Bar Do Papagaio.

Amazing location, Villa and View! All kept to a very high standard. If you are above 6ft just watch out for some of the chandeliers!

Our stay at Rui's home in Faja Da Ovelha was beyond our expectations. If you are looking for a more secluded stay with views of your own this is the place. It's located not far from various hikes and you are just a small drive from areas like Sexial, natural pools, and the black sand beach. The cat was a much welcomed friend during our stay, we looked forward to seeing her each morning. We actually eloped during this stay right in the lower garden of the Airbnb, it was such a special day with a stunning backdrop. Rui was so kind to allow us to be able to do this and even brought the gardeners a few days before so everything was pristine. If you are thinking about booking ...do it...you won't regret it.
