The other part of the house is our living space, and myself and my little family (Imanol 14 years old, Ines 11 years old) appreciate being able to interact in a friendly manner with our guests. Come and discover our beautiful region, a village ranked among "the most beautiful villages in France". We welcome you in a 3-star 80 m2 duplex apartment located in a quiet area facing the mountain (the Rhune), a 2-minute walk from Spain, 15 minutes from Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, 20 minutes from Saint-Jean-de-Luz. A 17th century house, the Altxua house (Aulnaie in Basque) was renovated in 2006 and offers an independent upstairs apartment with its private terrace (with barbecue). It is a short walk from the village of Ascain and all shops (800 m), 10 minutes from the sea and its beaches, golf courses and is the starting point for many hiking trails including the one leading to the Rhune. In summary: a quiet, relaxing place but close to all the points of interest of the Basque Country.
