I booked to visit with my 3 children, the Beauval Zoo. Patricia, advised us to take this tour over 2 days, and she was right They are hosts, very charming, accessible and available. The house is much better than in the photos and very clean. Not overlooked. We'll be back... for the castles And you can go there without a second thought.

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

The space is gorgeous. Small house with its gate, enough to park a car. An outdoor area for eating outside, having an aperitif and barbecuing. Inside everything is well thought out, a seating area with armchair and TV, a dining area and very well-equipped kitchen area (toaster, kettle, Senseo, fridge, freezer, washing machine...). And in the upper night corner, with the landing at the top of the stairs with 1 bed, a place where our daughter slept very well, and had space to play. A bathroom with a shower (nickel pressure to wash hair) 1 sink and 1 toilet. House linen is provided and it's great. And the spacious adult bedroom, with a huge bed. Close to Beauval Zoo (25 minutes), but also to Chambord Castle (30 minutes). We'll be happy to go back 😊

A warm welcome from Pablo, who remained available and caring throughout the stay. He renovated the cottage with passion and a lot of taste. Very comfortable bedding, each room is well thought out and lacks nothing, especially the kitchen, equipped with good quality utensils that make you want to cook. Everything you need is available, as well as a local gourmet treat (thank you!). We enjoyed the calm and coolness of the stream, in a wooded and flowery setting, after visiting the Festival des Jardins de Chaumont, 15 minutes away by car. The village of Pontlevoy is also worth a look. Delighted to have met Pablo and this little nest by the river where I would happily come back and which I highly recommend.
