Mister Hare's Cottage - beautiful Lakeland cottage

LeonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Mr Hares Cottage. The cottage is lovely & was squeaky clean top to bottom. Everything we needed was there for us & a folder on the table also explaining everything we needed to know, included interesting places to visit & local walks. I would definitely stay again, thank you David

Midways, Stunning Retreat in the Heart of Bowness

DavidRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We did a lot of different activities in the Lake district but the house was the highlight of our trip, we’d have been happy just to spend the whole time in the house. The house has been designed to get the most out of the views and the decor is amazing too, it is really clean and feels brand new. I’d say it is definitely worth paying a bit more to stay here over anywhere else in the local area, and we will be returning at some point in the future, we miss the house already. Also Team Laik and the owners are all fantastic, communicate well and make everything easy, so if you haven’t used Airbnb before I’d go with these, you can use the messaging system on the app and get a response almost straight away should you have any questions.

Lake District cottage for 4 w/ lake and fell views

DanielleRating, 5 starstoday
A fabulous place to stay. Excellent communication from the host Denise, and lovely homely touches. We have had a great weekend exploring the local area including a boat trip on Windermere and the world of Beatrix Potter. The location of the cottage is perfect and peaceful and the views are amazing. We enjoyed the terrace when we arrived for a late picnic tea! As a family of 4, with a 3 and 5 year old, the property was perfect very spacious and 2 separate bedrooms. The kitchen is super well equipped, and the little things like having a hairdryer make a difference. I would thoroughly recommend the cottage and Denise has been a warm and welcoming host! Thank you!

Beautiful Luxury one bedroom retreat in Far Sawrey

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is very private with a fantastic view from the living room. Great location allowing easy access to nearby pubs and to the ferry. We were surrounded by wildlife, and particularly enjoyed seeing the family of baby rabbits hop around the cottage garden each evening.

We had a fantastic stay here. It was very last minute due to our other accommodation being canceled, but luckily Joanna was quick to communicate and reassure us that the accommodation would be ready for check-in on the day we booked. Thanks, Oli & Meg

Bobbin Beck Cottage

SimonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Fantastic cottage set in a beautiful and peaceful hamlet a mile south of Satterthwaite just below Force Beck. Cottage worked perfectly for 5 adults with 2 bathrooms and plenty of space with separate kitchen and living room spaces. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances and a lovely wood burner for those chillier nights. Stone floors downstairs with a porch and utility room made it very easy to manage wet clothes and dog from our long walks. Now only one old labrador next door who barked but was very friendly when you navigate to the front porch via the neighbouring garden. Great access to walks and activities in Grizedale Forrest, Hawkshead and Tarn Hows. Manor House and The Drunken Duck pubs provide some excellent local food and Ambleside is only 30 minutes away with access to a wide range of other restaurants. Booths at Ulverston is a 20 minute drive south to restock groceries. We had a fantastic week of walking and would definitely plan a return visit.

Rusland View

Everywhere was exceptionally clean, tidy and well organized. The kitchen especially stood out being very well equipped with what looked like a new and very easy to use cooker, large fridge /freezer and all glasses, chinaware, cutlery and saucepans bought in matching sets specificately for the property, ( not hand me downs from elsewhere). A comfy lounge to toast yourselves in front of the log burner, user friendly bathroom and cloakroom with more than enough towels and a comfy bed to sink into for a well rested start to the next day.
