Too bad it's not possible to put 6 stars. The apartment has obviously been refurbished recently, it is very clean. It is also very spacious, and very comfortable, the two bedrooms each have their own bathroom with toilet (also spacious). There are three toilets in total. There is a parking lot to park your vehicle. The apartment is quiet, relaxing and yet, the icing on the cake, ideally located: the footbridge over the Tarn (it is not a rope bridge) open in May is about thirty meters away and on the other side of the river is the cathedral and the Lautrec museum in the Berbie palace. In short, five to ten minutes' walk from the apartment. I highly, highly recommend it.

What a stunning place! As an architectural photographer, I truly felt at home. The space is tastefully furnished, spotless, and perfectly located—just a short walk to shops and the old town. Where do we start! Thierry’s communication from booking was excellent. When we arrived Thierry met us with enthusiasm and showed us around our part of his castle! The castle, built in the 1500’s, has been lovingly restored and has all the mod cons needed! He is a very proud owner and has so much knowledge! His english put our French to shame as he has mastered it well! Thierry spent time with us when we arrived explaining the village and things to do in the area and would message with suggestions he thought we may be interested in (market at Carmaux etc) which was very helpful! When it was 34deg outside the castle was a much needed cool retreat! I can’t fault the accommodation, the area or the owner at all! Don’t hesitate to book Thierry’s part of history -you won’t regret it. Thierry, thank you for your hospitality and if we are ever in the area we will not hesitate to book with you again!

Romain's accommodation is consistent with its description; in the heart of Albi, very quiet and cool (it was hot outside when I was there), very functional and well-equipped, impeccable bathroom and bedding, and then free and secure private parking, which is far from negligible given its location without the city center; finally, Romain is very responsive and friendly; we highly recommend it!

As part of our film license, we had to make a short film at the end of the year. On this occasion, Laurence very kindly agreed to rent us this magnificent accommodation and supported us throughout this project. We thank her immensely, as this allowed us to complete our filming with superb shots. She has always been attentive to our needs, and the welcome was more than warm. We had everything we needed, despite the fact that there were many of us... The setting is simply magnificent: a beautiful house on the banks of the Tarn, in a natural environment full of charm. The layout of the house is perfect, it even has direct access to the Tarn thanks to a small pontoon, as well as a boat. The icing on the cake: a little trip to the Tarn. Thanks again for everything. Finding a filming location was no small feat, but we are delighted to have been able to shoot here. We can only recommend this place!

Accommodation in the middle of nature and horses, very quiet. Lake Roucarie is 5 km away for swimming. The location is ideal for visiting Albi and the most beautiful villages of France. Joris recommended the Monesties hostel for excellent food. We had a slight problem with the TV connection to the box and Émilie came to fix it very quickly. The plus: there is everything you need, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, dishwasher washing tablet.... While in general in Airbnbs, there is the bare minimum. The spa in the accommodation is just awesome Unbeatable value for money. Thank you Joris and Émilie for this beautiful place and your kindness

A timeless interlude with an exceptional panorama. An excellent welcome with a lot of kindness. The accommodation is even better than in the photos, with comfort and calm that allowed us to recharge the batteries with a 360° panorama. We will certainly come back to visit the region and enjoy this ideal setting for a family.
