The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

The attic: pleasant 2-room in the countryside.

The former pigeon house of the castle rehabilitated and arranged to welcome you. Between the country of Cocagne and Lauragais, in a country setting, several lakes nearby, a real peasant market on Saturday mornings in Lavaur, many walks around will take you from Cordes Sur Ciel to the Gorges du Tarn, in the Black Mountain, as well as Toulouse, located only 25 minutes by car. Air-conditioned, this apartment is great for long summer evenings with its sheltered terrace.

In the heart of the Lauragais, in the middle of the sunflower fields and away from the village, in a preserved and serene setting, come and explore a haven of serenity. This Lauragaise mansion, steeped in history and recently renovated, perfectly combines the charm of yesteryear and modern amenities. You will stay in the 80 m² cottage which is adjoining our house, surrounded by cats, horses and chickens. Privacy is preserved with our separate outdoor spaces.

The room is part of our primary residence but the access is independent (in the basement, garage side - our entrance is on the other side of the house).
