Enjoy your stay in the bosom of nature on the shores of the lake. Heat the sauna, relax in the sauna while watching the lake scenery and occasionally jump in to swim in the clean lake water. Repovesi National Park is located a couple of kilometers away. So combining cottage living with hiking is a great success. In addition to the cottage, there is a barbecue hut where you can also stay overnight. A dock and a rowboat can also be found on the beach. The place is unique: a quiet private peninsula and traditional Finnish handicrafts in the cottage.

The cottage does not have a shower. Only 20-25 min to Kouvola, Tykkimäki and Mielaka hillside center and less than 2 hours drive from the metropolitan area. Not for party groups.

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

I have a few Air bnb apartments in same building. Building it self has been built 1906 its a strong building with 70cm thick brick walls. Hole building is totally re-built by my self. My own apartment win "Luxury houses of Finland" TV series a few years a go. This Air bnb flat is 32m2 with Sauna, its a quiet place towards of lake Saimaa and only 600m from town center of Lappeenranta. We try to show apartment ourselves and give the key when its possible but we can put key also to Mastelock.

II Holiday cottage on the island by Lake Saimaa

Fisherman's hut I and II are well-equipped two-bedroom holiday cottages in Lake Saimaa near Partakoski, Savitaipale in South-Western Finland. The cottages are located on Lapinsalo island. In the summer, they can be accessed by boat (an easy journey of 1 km). We will teach you to drive a motor boat and take you to the cabin personally. We only rent this cottage for min 5-7 days at a time. This relaxing getaway in privacy is a great way to spend a summer holiday!
