Holiday rentals with a patio in Scarborough District

The studio was spotlessly clean and in a great location with Boston Spa high street just a few minutes walk away. As people have pointed out, it gets very hot in the main space when the sun is out as it was for our visit. However the bedroom is shaded and therefore cooler, so sleeping wasn’t an issue. The only niggle was the lack of a toaster which would have been welcome to toast the bread which was part of the otherwise delicious breakfast. However this was a minor point and the studio was otherwise a very comfortable place to stay.

What a find! Absolutely perfect for our three night stay in York. Secure parking with EV charging and we didn’t use the car at all once we’d arrived. 45 minute pleasant walk to the centre or bus stop literally right outside the door. Also got an Uber back after a night out and was less than £8. There are local pubs and shops within a few minutes walk too. The place is exactly as shown in the photos, absolutely spotless, with comfy bed and good quality bedding. Carolyn is an excellent host, great local info and perfect level of communication…providing all the information and responsive to messages but also left us in peace :)

Poppy’s place is a great place to stay if visiting York. Hickory’s restaurant just 16 mins walk away and FootGolf over the road. Good use of space would highly recommend! If it’s forecast high 20’s low 30’s I would bring a fan with you as it gets very warm through the evening. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay in the future.

This is a really beautiful property! Although one has to deal with many steps, the beauty and peacefulness and quiet are really worth it. It is comfortable, well equipped, and quiet, with a really charming balcony to sit on – a lovely view of the Abbey. Very easy access to town, beaches, et cetera. The host was helpful, and answered our queries fully and promptly. We would certainly recommend it.

The Guest Place was a lovely place to stay, perfectly appointed (with a really comfy bed!), spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous street. Walking distance to amenities and the beach too. Ann was a great host, communicated regularly and made me feel really welcome. I hope to stay again!

Catherine is the ideal relaxed host. (and a baking angel, thank you, Catherine!) The apartment was large, bigger than we expected, and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal for our weeks stay, lovely peaceful surroundings, but easy drive to a great shopping centre with good park & ride into York, also 1 hour access to Whitby, Harrogate (Harlow Carr), Rievaulx and Fountains.

This is our second stay at low tide, stayed in 2023 and it was as beautiful as it was then! Super clean, gorgeous decor, great little courtyard and lovely little touches for the doggy (dog bowls, blanket)! Hosts were very quick to respond to any messages! Great location, 2 mins to the beach, private parking you coudnt ask for anymore! Will be back again 100%

Sheila and Pete were great hosts really friendly and welcoming and nothing too much trouble. The accommodation was faultless very homely and literally a 5 minute walk from the station. We were able to leave our possessions earlier than the checkin time which was fantastic as otherwise would’ve been lugging them about all day. They left us a lovely welcoming card and some gorgeous fresh scones with all the trimmings . Will definitely be booking to stay again. Helen was an excellent host. The location was perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Harrogate. The house was spotless and very well equipped. 100% will stay again.

this cottage was well above our expectations, just 1 thing worth a mention,the house is on top of a hill, so if you have to leave your car at the bottem of hill on the station paid for car park you have to walk up a very steep hill,also two lots of stairs in the house so you need to be fit and able to walk this 1 in 5 bank and stairs in the house.

Wow! What a beautiful cottage in Staithes. The beds were super comfy, beautifully decorated throughout with everything needed for a self catering stay. The host David, was really friendly and met us on arrival to show us around the cottage. He even dropped off a pack of cards later in the day as we had forgotten ours! Stunning views on opening the lounge doors to hear the birds nesting in the cliffs and watch the tide coming in. We will definitely be staying again, soon hopefully! Thank you

Really enjoyed our stay. Sandsend is a better choice for us than Whitby as it’s quiet, has a lovely beach and has great variety for places to eat out. Accommodation is great and all restaurants are easily walkable. Great place for dogs as the back garden is fully enclosed. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Fantastic! This was our first holiday away with our toddler, and it was perfect. There were toys and books available, as well as a travel cot and high chair. The private garden was appreciated to kick a ball around. The whole place was immaculate and Lora should be very proud of this place. Big bonus - during a heatwave, the bedrooms remained max 22 degrees (we bought our room thermometer from home). We kept the curtains closed all day and everyone slept well at night in the cool. The fish and chip shop up the hill provided us with a delicious takeaway for our first night. It was only 10 minutes drive to the local Lidl, and another 10 to Whitby town centre. We may well be back!

The cottage is delightful, very clean and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable. The location was great, a short walk to the city and we loved climbing the hill back to the cottage. There is a Sainsbury’s mini market within walking distance. Wendy was a great host and answered our questions promptly.

Idyllic four nights in The Shed. Nicola has the property resourced brilliantly and it was easy to feel at home with all the practical information she provided. The location is tranquil-days were spent enjoying the enclosed garden. The property is a nearby drive to a lovely village and market towns or you can venture further to Whitby or Scarborough. Thoroughly enjoyed our temporary home.

We had a fabulous weekend away with our 2 small doggies at Sophie’s place. The home was beautifully presented, and perfectly clean - both making us feel instantly welcome. The enclosed yard-style garden was great for the dogs as it allowed total privacy. With the patio doors open they could pop in and out as they pleased and there was no foot traffic past to disturb them. The kitchen was well stocked - we didn’t end up cooking as there was lots of lovely places to eat out but with plenty of cooking utensils/pots and pans ect, we easily could have done. The bed was super comfortable! Lovely fresh white bedding and clean towels provided. We enjoyed the use of the coffee machine and the ‘wonky pods’ menu was great to have a change of coffee option each day. A wonderful stay, would definitely be checking if this was available again if we were looking for a place nearby! I can see why other guests have stayed multiple times! Thanks Sophie!

We had a fantastic 4 day visit to the beautiful city of York based on Jenny's well located listing. Very rare spot at the center of it all, with large, excellent, Marks and Spencer grocers right out the front door. All the excitement of adjacent narrow passage ways through the Shambles. One of the best parts of being so close was the easy ability to wander through in the morning hours, before the other many tourists visiting York begin to crowd in. Comfortable flat, super-friendly and communicative host.

Lovely house in a beautiful location with stunning views of the countryside! Great communication from the host, April, meant the property was easy to find. Highly recommend.

We’ve just had a beautiful stay after a family day at flamingoland. The annexe is spotless, well decorated and very spacious. The photos don’t do it justice. Felt at home straight away, and I was able to get a pizza delivered for the kids. The girls really loved the piano, garden, games, and bunk bed. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for having us :)

Perfect location for a couple of nights in Harrogate. Wonderful apartment, very tastefully done. Rachael was very responsive and gave plenty of clear instructions. Couldn’t fault it!

this flat was amazing for our short stay in Whitby. Val was a very great host, extremely helpful with her recommendations of what to do in the town. the place was very clean and we especially loved that we were able to use Netflix for a little movie night in! nothing to complain about.

My sister and I booked this Airbnb for our parents as a birthday gift and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Eleanor, our host, was so thoughtful and friendly. She even asked what kind of bread and milk our parents liked and made sure there was a lovely welcome package waiting for them when they arrived. The property included a parking permit which is a real bonus for the area. There’s also a bus stop just at the end of the road that takes you straight into the city centre in under ten minutes. The street itself is absolutely charming, it honestly looks like something from the Notting Hill film set. The place was spotless with a beautiful bathroom, a well equipped kitchen and a cosy bedroom. Our parents had such a lovely stay and we’ll definitely be booking again.
