Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Schaffhausen

Peter and Denise are wonderful hosts who open up their lovely, comfortable home to their airbnb guests and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed meeting them and their daughter and the cat!! 
The views from the house are very lovely, and the walk to Stein am Rhein was so beautiful that we did it more than once in our 2 days there!
 The boat ride to Schaffenhaus to go see the Rhein Falls was great (thanks for the recommendation to do that, Peter and Denise), and the falls were well worth the visit. We would definitely stay here again.

Matthias' house is spacious, nicely decorated, and looks even better in real life than on the photos. It's situated a few mins walk from the forest, and many hiking trails which is a bonus for nature lovers like me. The Rhine Falls is also about 10 mins walk on foot from Neuhausen city center. Matthias is super friendly and easygoing, gives great advice and tips on the Schaffhausen area, hiking trails, things to do around. The kitchen, bathroom, washroom are very well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room has a thermostat and you can control the temperature which was much appreciated, especially during the winter months. The nearest bus stop is 5 mins walk from the house which is convenient when getting to work or to the nearby shops. I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed my time at Matthias' house and I would definitely book again with him. You can't find a better spot in the Neuhausen, Schaffhausen, Rhein Falls area. We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

a beautiful room in a quiet neighborhood near the Rhine and its famous falls. A friendly hostess, just like her two cats. Be careful not to run over the rabbits in the garden when you put your bike away 😇

The room was clean and comfortable. Peaceful location walkable distance to the park and city center. Friendly host, even offering to prolong check out time for free for couple hours. Time of response was quick and clear. I would recommend this house for anyone.

I had a wonderful stay at “Zur Geduld” in the Historic Oldtown. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and charming. Lia was a fantastic host—kind, responsive, and incredibly hospitable. Communication was smooth from check-in to check-out, and all instructions were clear. I appreciated the attention to detail and how easy everything was. The location was also perfect for exploring the area. I would definitely recommend this Ferienhaus and would happily stay here again. Thank you for a great experience!

It was one of the most relaxing, beautiful holidays I have ever enjoyed in Switzerland, partly due to the very pleasant and extremely satisfying stay in my accommodation with the lovely Maier family. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, generously accommodating, always striving for my well-being and this feel-good effect was also 100% achieved with me. The room was very well and comfortably equipped with everything you need and enough space. It was clean and everything was in good working order. The best thing for me was the wonderful and lovingly designed view of the beautiful garden and the very quiet, green location in which you could chill out and relax and just listen to the calming, at the same time energizing sounds of nature - if you did not want to be so active on some days. All in all, I would like to say a big thank you to my hosts and let them know: I WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK!!! Best regards from Vienna :))

Was also nice and cool in the summer, TV with Netflix was good, very soft and comfortable bed, good location -> quick to Winterthur and close to the highway. We enjoyed it very much at Gogo, it is a beautiful apartment and a large garden, very cozy bedroom and we would come back anytime.

We stayed as a group of three (a mother and two daughters) and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was spotless, everything felt new and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped for our needs. Check-in and check-out were smooth thanks to clear instructions via a dedicated website. The location is great — within walking distance to the Rhine Falls, with public buses available if the uphill walk is too much. Supermarkets are also nearby. The host was exceptionally proactive, friendly, and very responsive even during weekends and holidays. Highly recommended!

It’s a beautiful farmhouse surrounded by a scenic landscape and mountains. The location is quiet, remote, and truly off the grid. The house is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a play area, a well-organized kitchen, and the charm of natural beauty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future.

Stefanie was an excellent host, always immediately available and super friendly. Her guest apartment was super clean and very stylishly furnished. The area was perfect especially for people who want to relax, the surroundings very quiet and the connection to the next village for shopping also very close.

Catia and Lukas are exceptional hosts. I had a hard time believing all the other reviews but they are all true to reality✨ The place is of a quality and cleanliness that I have never seen on Airbnb. Everything is thought out in every detail, the little touches, the decor, the quality bedding very comfortable, the walk-in for clothes, etc. We stayed with our 2 year old twins and were able to enjoy the sunny days in the garden or on foot in the neighborhood. The planes taking off and the cows were much appreciated 😉 The environment is quiet and peaceful except maybe the bell tower right in front that rings all day.. and all night (!!) but it's part of the charm of the place 🤭 Close to Zürich by car with parking right in front, that's perfect. Thanks again to Catia and Lukas for this warm welcome 😊

Fantastic place to stay I recommend it

After 7 weeks in Europe, Malonda made our last day a very comfortable and functional departure lodging for a quick drive to ZRH!! She is a great host!! It was one of the best equipped lodgings during our whole time.

We spent 3 days in Sebastian's apartment, everything was magnificent and exactly as described, minutes from HB Station and supermarkets, an excellent choice for a couple in Zurich.
