There are also beautiful cycling routes. From Castricum train station (5 km), you can reach Amsterdam Central Station in just 30 minutes. Alkmaar and Haarlem are also nearby. In Amsterdam Noord, in the circular district of Buiksloterham, the new "place to be" of Amsterdam, you will find the studio, an oasis of peace for visitors to bustling Amsterdam. The bright studio has its own entrance and is located on a small "Japanese" courtyard garden. When you open the sliding door, you are in the garden. In the cozy quiet room, there is a queen-size bed. The bathroom and suite is also located on the courtyard.

Our lodge is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a modern kitchen, a smart TV and a Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxurious jacuzzi and wood-burning stove. The lodge, with its large private garden and unobstructed views, is completely separated from the farmhouse by a fence and is accessible only to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast is available upon request.

Zaandam is well known for its’ maritime history and hosts the famous open air museum Zaanse Schans. Our place is a great hub to explore Amsterdam and its surroundings, like Zandvoort beach and charming Haarlem. Cozy and peaceful, the garden suite is a perfect place to relax after a long day of walking and sightseeing.
