Holiday rentals with a pool in Schisma Eloundas

We (a family with two kids, aged 5 and 2) really enjoyed our stay with Mpampis. The apartment is modern and has everything you need. The private pool and the courtyard were absolute highlights, especially for our kids. The beach is just 50 meters away. It’s a sandy beach in a quiet bay, which makes it perfect for families with children. Mpampis is a great host — he always responded quickly and gave us helpful tips for restaurants and beaches. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Kindest and sweetest hosts. Went out of their way to make us feel at home and were always readily available for questions. Location is perfect and close to all the best spots. Private rooftop pool is lovely. Huge thanks for letting us check out late as there was no booking till the following day. It made all the difference in the world to our long trip home!

Snorkelling paradise! Nikos and the Stone House were both great. The house is small, but has everything you need, with the pool and BBQ area where we spent most of our time, and the steps down to the sea lead to a perfect spot for snorkelling, where we saw all sorts of types of sea life. Nikos was there with everything we needed, including recommendations of beaches / restaurants etc. Ierepetra is a much nicer town than people say and the Stone House is a 5 minute drive into town. You could walk, but we didn't. Would highly recommend!

A real insider tip for those seeking tranquility, nature, and privacy. The accommodation is idyllically located, surrounded by many olive trees and mountains - perfect for switching off. We especially liked the beautiful pool, the well-maintained tennis court and the refreshing outdoor shower - a real highlight after a hot day in the sun. Everything was very clean and lovingly designed. Magdalena was always available and quickly answered all our questions. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be back! A tavern, a gas station and a small bakery are within 15 minutes' walk. However, since there is no sidewalk, a car is definitely recommended! The nearest beach, Heraklion and the airport are about 15 minutes away by car.

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

A gem and a beautiful retreat in southern Crete. The villa has everything your heart desires, a beautiful view, pool and a modern kitchen that makes every heart of a hobby cook beat faster. I will miss the morning and evening bath in the pool with the view. Since it has almost no light pollution, you can see a starry sky and the Milky Way with the naked eye. Secluded beaches are easily accessible by car within 30 minutes, so a car is highly recommended. Doesn't have to be an SUV. Sam is available at any time and communicates very quickly. Furthermore, he or Lefteris are always available with tips and advice. Sam and Anel are more than super hosts and I can recommend their villa villa 200%.

The place was spotless, clean, and tidy. Pamela welcomed us for our short stay in Heraklion. We were well settled there, about fifteen minutes by car from the city center and 10 minutes from the airport, which made it easier to organize the end of our stay.

This place was amazing. Stunning views, private beach, everything you need to stay for a while and relax. Exactly what we were looking for.

We loved this home. The huge terrace and view are so amazing. We spent lots of time on the nice patio furniture outside enjoying it. We also loved the pool. You can walk to a few spots in the area for dinner and we really enjoyed the patio bar at the hotel next door. Fun spot. Across the street was Pegasus Dive and boat rental. It was so nice to walk there and rent a small boat to see the town from the water. The town is really nice and the perfect size place to explore. We spent a week here and another week in Chania area. Smaller than the space appears to be in the photos but clean and well appointed. Danielle, our host, was helpful, a great communicator, and accessible. Great to be able to communicate easily when out of country. The pool is small, good for refreshing only. Be prepared for 3 flights of steep stairs to gain entry.

The room was nice and big, view from the balcony was really beautiful, pool was great and the location was the best. You can find everything you need in Istro - shops, tavernas, beautiful beaches. We loved it and we can certainly recommend!

We were very well received by the host Maria who was very kind and attentive throughout the stay, giving us tips on activities to do nearby. The place was identical to the listing photos, very clean and tidy, with everything you needed to live there. The only downside was that there was no salt, pepper and oil as noted on the listing, but other than that all the equipment was suitable for a good holiday as we were lucky. The location was great, close to the main avenue with supermarkets, beaches, restaurants, but also not far from the very charming old town, when it comes to the night the location was conducive to quietly staying there. Great experience in Papadakis Villas! We'll go back!

awesome location and awesome family running the place

Our family of 4 had a great time at the villa Feronia. Catherine and Manolis left wine and beer in the fridge as well as all the basics needed in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry corner. The Garden and the pool area is duper nice and well equipped too. As the weather was cool end of October, we used the jacuzzi instead of the pool. Arrival and departure were smoothly organized. Catherine reacted promptly whenever we had a question. We would definitely come again !

Very pleasant stay in early fall. Comfortable apartment, close to the beach. Janne made sure to give us all the important information and responded very quickly to questions. We had a wonderful week with the family.

The vacation was simply fantastic! Everyone was super nice and always there for us. The complex was just as beautiful as in the pictures - clean, well maintained and right on the beach. Even a change of room was possible without any problems. The food was delicious, varied and gluten-free. The time with my boyfriend was unforgettable. Perfect all around! We will definitely be back.
