The house is located in the middle of Schierensee, an idyllic village with about 400 inhabitants in the Westensee Nature Park. Here you are surrounded by a magnificent landscape, ideally suited for long hikes and bike tours. At the lake there is a swimming area with a great kiosk cafe, which is run with a lot of love and passion. Guests can indulge in culinary delights at Gasthof La Famiglia. A little secluded from the village, there is a large organic farm with a farm shop and cafe.

We have a terrace and a garden to spend time and make breakfast in open air, if the wheather allows it :-) It's available for groups, families and cyclists. Till now the bathroom only can be reached through the doublebed-room. We're searching for another solution. In 125 qm you have much space. Shops for daily needs are nearby. And there are many possibilties for day trips.

We try to avoid plastic and our living room is not dominated by a big TV (although a small one with standard satellite connection is available). Wireless internet access available. Best for people, seeking tranquility, time for reading books, breathing fresh air, star gazing, sitting around the fire place.

Cycling between the Altes Land and Hamburg

With a great passion for mid-century style and bicycles of all kinds, we have decorated our 1970s bungalow. From here you can easily explore and experience the old country with Hamburg, but also Buxtehude, Stade and the Elbe up to Cuxhaven. But of course, the house is just as suitable as a temporary home office (Airbus near Stade + Finkenwerder) or for just a relaxing time out in the countryside.
