Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Schwabing-West

We were in Munich due to a trade fair visit and were therefore looking for a place with which we could easily commute by public transport. There were four of us and everyone had their space. We would choose the place again.

We got to know Pamela as a very helpful and reliable landlady. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful location, surrounded by nature, far from the chaos of the city, we really relaxed, reminiscent of typical Italian mountain houses, in the most niche areas. Spectacular!!!!

A really wonderful host: the loveliest family, couldn't have been more helpful, accomodating and attentive. Excellent communication...even when we called at odd hours. The house is warm and welcoming and had everything we needed and more. We really miss the massage chair, our morning coffee and our new friend, the little cat. Beds were super comfortable, the kitchen/living area is really spacious, the garden is lovely with outdoor dining area and the washing machine and dryer were very handy. The neighbourhood is perfect for a family. It's quiet, friendly, with excellent transport links. Two U-bahn stations, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket, clothes shops, a pharmacy, health food shop, bank and even a department store are all within walking distance. I would highly recommend this property and host. It was like a home away from home.

Cornelia was an excellent host. She met with us upon check in to explain all of the intricacies of the home, she was kind and so easy to work with. It was close to shops, bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores. We absolutely recommend her home and would stay here again!

Our family just spent a week in Chris’s home while visiting Munich and Bavaria. It was the perfect home base for taking the train into Munich (station is a 2-minute walk down the street), as well as day trips we took to drive to Fussen, Berchtesgaden, and Salzburg. The home was beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. Many extra amenities and items were provided, we felt right at home! Chris was available to meet us in person but we opted to do a later check in to tour Dachau on our way, so he sent me very detailed videos and instructions on how to get the key from the lockbox and how to work the cooktop, lights, instructions for recycling etc. We loved the restaurant recommendations Chris gave and ate at both the local German restaurant/biergarten and Italian restaurant twice each. Both a quick (5 minutes or less) walk from the house. The house worked perfectly for our family of 5 - plenty of room to spread out and room for more. The extra half bath was nice to have as well!

A lovely place to stay. We loved spending time on the patio and looking out at the beautiful view. Lots of space to relax in. All the bedrooms are stunning and spacious. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Munich.

The house is very clean , the location is quite good near the centre around 20mins .

We felt very comfortable in Daniela's apartment and also slept very well. It's nice that parking in front of the house is possible. Daniela's apartment is wonderfully bright, spacious and well equipped. We liked the quiet location of the apartment very much. We were able to get to know great beer gardens in and around Altomünster. Day trips, e.g. to Augsburg or Munich, are easily feasible. Shopping facilities are available in the village, from the supermarket to the delicatessen. Thanks to many events, it is never boring in Altomünster. For ice cream lovers, there is a great ice cream shop in the middle of the village. Conclusion: We highly recommend Daniela's apartment!

We loved staying at Victoria’s beautiful home. The accommodation was amazing and looks even better in real life. The kitchen was modern and had everything you needed, we had two family groups staying together and there was plenty of space. We were going to stay in Munich but so glad we didn’t as the countryside and lakes in the area were wonderful too visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks to the hosts who were very welcoming.

"A beautiful, spacious house with a fantastic garden - a little paradise in the whole street. Everything you need was there. The location is quiet, but still not far from the city center, and you can easily get to Munich by public transport. There are beautiful lakes nearby for swimming or walking - perfect places to enjoy nature. In addition, there are many good restaurants with excellent cuisine in the area. We liked the stay very much, and we would like to come back. A big thank you to Gilles for their hospitality and the nice communication!

Great stay with great weather which helped make our vacation extra of course! Impeccable and very beautiful accommodation, as described Cornelia is a great host. We did not see it physically but had a lot of fruitful and friendly exchanges via the app Ideal location close to a few lakes including the Starnberg See which is a 15mn walk (swimming boat rides...) or the Ammersee which is 10mn by car In 45 minutes we are in Munich, in 1h10 at the castle of Neuschwanstein and therefore 10 minutes more and we are in the Tirol... We would recommend a stay here to everyone Tchuss

Beate was easy to contact.Apartment was in a great location,close to restaurants,groceries and train station(10 min walk)A secure underground parking spot was also a bonus!Train ride into Munich was 25-30 min so no need to drive.Great spot very peaceful and quiet

We traveled to Munich May 25, and had accommodation in Axel&Katrin’s place. Very peaceful and beautiful place. Apartment is spacious, and our team of 3 had plenty of space there. Recommend to rent A car in order to get places. I would definitely book this place again! Thanks Axel & Katrin!

We had a great time in Seefeld! The house is very spacious and fully equipped, as Daniel lives in the accommodation itself with family. The kids especially enjoyed the great garden with large trampoline. The location is great - you have the choice to drive to the lakes depending on the weather, or to the city of Munich with its generous offer of activities. As an electric car driver, it should also be noted that a public charging station is available about 100 m away. All in all, we were very satisfied!

Annika's place is fantastic and I definitely recommend it. It is very clean, spacious, well furnished and equipped with every comfort. You can see the commitment with which Annika takes care of her. The garden and terrace then offer an appreciable added value in case there is good weather. The location is ideal because it is close to the lake and allows you to easily reach many other beautiful towns in the area. Supermarkets, shops, and restaurants are all within walking distance. Communication with Annika was quick and easy. Thank you so much for a great stay!

I had been eyeing this Airbnb since winter, when I saw its lovely Christmas decorations in the listing photos. The host clearly puts a lot of thought into the place, and it seems like the decor changes with the seasons. This time, we stayed here as a stopover during our hiking trip to the Alps, and it was a great experience. The location is perfect—conveniently situated between Munich and the Alps. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive—always happy to help with anything we needed. We were also warmly welcomed with a thoughtful gift, which made us feel truly cared for. It’s a cozy and well-equipped space, ideal for families or small groups. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Our family holiday started in Rust, Germany and ended in Munich, we enjoyed our holiday in Germany and this was a great location if you’re looking to travel around the City!
