Manor park glamping - lake suite

Amidst a heritage protected manor park with beautiful old trees, small glades and a lively bird population you'll find four luxurious bell tents with lovely views. Made of heavy canvas they give a nice natural feeling, great lighting atmosphere and leave you with a 3.5m high tented roof and 30sqm lots of space. Take a break from everyday life to spend time musing, thinking, reading in the park or go out to explore the amazing lakes and cultural heritage of the "Mecklenburg Lake Plateau".

A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

Welcome to the holiday idyll on the edge of the forest. The property is located on our property, surrounded by the unique nature of Mecklenburg Switzerland. Nestled in the hilly landscape, you will find pure relaxation here. The building complex consists of a large sleeping and living yurt and a cottage in which the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with warm water are located. Enjoy the moments in the sauna, by the pond, by the campfire, in the hammock or in the flower garden.

Our apartments have been completely rebuilt in traditional solid oak half-timbered construction and were completed in 2019. In the house there are two neighboring apartments with separate entrances. Our lovingly furnished apartment is the ideal place to escape the everyday and simply unwind. "Prignitz is a privilege for some and a pampa for others" The property is 5.3 ha. In January 2021, a large part was forested with about 9,000 young deciduous trees and fenced with a game fence.

Knehden is located in the middle of a nature reserve, only about five kilometers from Templin. In addition to cranes, sea and ospreys can also be observed here. Otters, beavers and even kingfishers are also native to the area. The crane migration is particularly impressive in autumn. Three lakes are nearby and can be reached on foot or easily by bicycle.
