Bis zur Ostsee sind es. ca. 20 min. mit dem PKW. Lübeck, Kiel und HH sind gut zu erreichen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vor dem Haus möglich.

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, ländlich. 200 Meter bis zum See in dem gebadet werden kann. Es lädt zu Rad- und Wandertouren ein. Mit seinen Seen in OH besteht auch die Möglichkeit Kanu/ Kajaks zu leihen.
