Welcome to our sweet little carriage house in the Fan District on historic Monument Ave. Carriage houses are stand-alone buildings from days when people had carriages instead of cars. These lovely old two-story buildings date to the early 1900s, but the indoors here is modernized, offering quiet, elegant privacy in the very center of the bustling Fan. We live in the main house; you will be in back private guesthouse, which you will have for yourself, but we are nearby if anything comes up!

Beautifully situated in the heart of the fan district, this home is steps away from shops, restaurants, and cafes. Walking distance to The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Byrd Park, VCU, and Carytown. This home has three bright bedrooms and 2 1/2 deluxe baths. Sip coffee in the gated front yard or enjoy a book in the private back yard complete with fountain, fire pit table, and covered deck with TV. The cheerful kitchen is fully stocked with essentials. Lots of light and character.

We are looking for people who will enjoy the Historic Fan District of Richmond. The stand alone apartment includes a bedroom, bathroom, and renovated kitchen which has microwave, refrigerator, toaster ,and Keurig coffee machine. For our overnight guests we will provide the ingredients for a delicious breakfast: baked goods butter jams etc., 6 breakfast cereals, , fresh fruit , tea and for Keurig 10 varieties of coffee plus hot chocolate and hot apple cider.

You’ll love my place because the location is central to everything Richmond, comfortable bed, washer and dryer, cable TV in living room and bedroom + wifi and a queen air mattress for extra sleepers. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids)
