Family-friendly holiday rentals in Scio Township

Our sons wedding was up the road and this was a perfect house for our family. Grandsons loved the games and swing set in the backyard. Wish we would have had more time to feed the fish in the pond and use the hot tub. Linda’s house was spotless and it was nice to have such a beautiful place to come back to at the end of the long days.

This place offers a lot for a good value. The back yard is awesome! There is a very nice fire pit and a few chairs to relax in. Hosts were very responsive and gave clear check in and check out instructions. Definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay, in a beautiful home and neighborhood. Our hosts made us feel right at home. It was an inviting and charming house. The deck and backyard were perfect for a small, family graduation gathering.

Warren, Nathan, and John (who we didnt have a chance to meet until the morning we were leaving) were amazing hosts, guides, baristas...and beautiful humans. They were so nice to talk to and made us feel very welcome. The house, the hot tub, the beautiful surroundings, a coffee shop in the backyard...everything was exactly as described and so much more. We have already been checking our calendars to find a weekend to go back!. Definite ten out of ten...and I'm positive our dogs would agree too :)

Jason was an amazing host. He was very proactive. He reached out to me regarding check in and check out and was very accommodating and responsive. The neighborhood was interesting. We were a bit apprehensive driving in because it’s the only house around. A bit excluded. But we didn’t feel unsafe and there is a police station a stones throw away. It was quiet, and the perfect location to use as a home base while visiting Detroit. Which is a great city with tons to see and do!! The house is so unique with an interesting back story. If you’re headed to Detroit, you have to stay here!

This place was perfect for our 4 day trip! Near downtown and the Q Line for easy access to Tigers/Lions stadiums and tons of other walkable locations. Very clean and nice neighborhood. And parking was never even remotely a problem. Definitely recommend! Go Tigers!

Stayed here for a holiday weekend with a family of four adults. The house location is fantastic! Beautiful sweeping views of Lake Erie from many rooms in the house, and nothing beat having coffee on the deck in the morning and a drink on the deck in the evening. Having the ravine next to us added to the privacy and wonderful animal watching (birds, fox, frogs). The home was charming, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. We spent Sunday at the many walkable wineries. Can't recommend this place enough! We're looking forward to adding it to our getaway rotation!

Annette’s home was the perfect place for my family as we celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday. The space was clean, spacious, and welcoming for all ages. The beds were super comfortable, the carpet was plush, and the air hockey table was a fun bonus! Annette communicated clearly and made sure we had everything we needed. I’d absolutely stay here again—she truly made us feel at home.

I came to Detroit for a concert at the Masonic Temple. It was an easy walk to and from. Great restaurants & bars within walking distance. You can literally see Comerica Park & Little Caesars Arena from the building. Easy to get to from the freeway, easy parking & navigating. The check in instructions were very clear, and I appreciated the photos to help understand. The space is quaint & full of thoughtful amenities in the kitchen & bathroom. It felt like a space I would live in. The elevator was out of service, but Paige was 100% up front about this & I didn't mind the exercise going up & down the stairs. I will definitely keep this space in mind for future concerts & Tigers games!

David's place was a perfect location for the training I was in town for. The Q Line which is free was just one block away which was super convenient. The place has a beautiful large window in the front which allows for lots of natural light which I love. Also, David was super accommodating to my late check out request which was really nice and the snacks and water in the suite along with the high tech bed were unexpected bonuses!

The small fenced area was perfect when having a dog stay with me. However, having a reactive dog in an apartment was not my best idea. She was not used to all the little noises around us, so she did bark more often than planned. Hauling her crate to the apartment was also more of a journey than I thought. Otherwise, perfect amount of eating/drinking utensils and the bathroom was so nice to use! The mattress was perfect to sleep on as well. I would definitely use this space again, but either without my pup or when she gets older and more calm.

Auntie Blondie (as she told me to call her) was an awesome host. She was very thorough giving me a tour of the property and was a phone call away when I needed anything. The location and views were great for the price and would recommend this property to anyone in the area. Thank you again for allowing us to celebrate in your property.

Hosts were friendly, helpful, and informative. Beautiful and peaceful property with loads to do. Travelers of all ages can find something to do on this property and in the surrounding park areas.

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my 2 kids aged 8 and 11. The place was nice and clean and the host was easily contactable and sent us a message every couple of days to check all was ok. We had plenty of room and facilities to cook and do our laundry. The pool area out the back was great and my kids and I spent many hours swimming. I would definitely consider booking again if we are back in the area next year.

I’m so glad we chose this location! The indoor pool was a major highlight, it’s what sold us. The kids had a blast swimming without us having to worry about the weather. The area itself was peaceful and relaxing, and we were lucky enough to have clear skies to enjoy some stargazing. The home was stocked with fun extras like board games and pool toys, and we even got to enjoy a cozy little bonfire. The house itself was lovely, and I especially loved the kitchen, it had everything we needed. This stay definitely ranks as one of our favorites!

My family needed a larger place to stay over the holidays and we required a decent kitchen because we like to cook meals all together. This property met our expectations for every meal we had planned. The beds were clean and the rooms were all sufficiently sized for our needs. The additional amenity of having the indoor pool during the winter was great for all the kids to have an activity to do that they enjoy. This house has clearly served multiple generations of families and it made a nice touch for my family holiday. The host was available to message the entire stay and it didn’t feel like a problem if we needed anything or for questions. The secluded location was wonderful to wake up to but a little tricky to find in the dark for the first time check-in. All in all a very positive experience staying at this property.
