Monthly Rentals in Scott County

We got many hours of joy from the piano and the incredible screened in porch. We loved the tranquility and the birdsong. The new, blessedly deep bathtub and big shower were excellent. Also enjoyed reading a few of the great books! The place was not as clean as we had expected, and since we were staying for over a month we did a good bit of cleaning, so it may be better for the next folks. Updates to the kitchen and better pans would be nice. Be prepared that there are not a lot of restaurants or grocery options nearby. We planned ahead so that wasn’t an issue. For accessibility, be aware you will need to go up or down curved wooden stairs from the main level to get to any bathroom. Be careful not to slip on the steps.

We stay in the area frequently to hike and visit family. This trip was last minute and I’m glad I found a place to accommodate five family members. We hiked Angel falls (easy) and just had a great relaxing time. The property was private and amazing.

Beautiful place to stay. Home was clean and everything in great shape. Lots of space. Kitchen was stocked with plates, silverware, toaster, even a little pizza oven. Everything you would need to cook your meals. Best part was the back porch with the incredible view and comfortable porch furniture. Great place to stay if you’re a UTV rider. Lots of parking for trailers. We trailered to Pickett State Forest (less than an hour) and rode right from the house to Brimstone and Royal Blue. Crysta was always very responsive to my questions as well and made our stay seamless from check in to check out. We would definitely recommend staying here!!

The house was clean, easy to get in. If you’re looking for peace and quiet it is a great place to stay and sit around the fire pit in the evenings. There were some brochures and menus to near by restaurants left out. There were snacks on the table and bar area in the kitchen.
