The location of the house was really great. It was quite impressive in terms of both design and cleanliness. Since the bathroom and toilet are together, a little water can splash around after a shower, so it may be helpful to have slippers with you. Also, since the building is old, the sound insulation is not very good and there may be noise from time to time from the apartment upstairs. But this was not an uncomfortable situation for us. You might want to consider this if you are sensitive to sound though. The hosts were extremely caring and helpful, very responsive to every question we had. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay, we would definitely consider choosing it again.

This was an outstanding beginning to our trip in Turkey. The location was perfect in a very walkable and interesting neighborhood with all we needed in terms of restaurants and walkable to attractions. We were only one block from the tram that takes you anywhere you need to go. The very best thing about our stay, though, was Cem. We have never had a more proactively helpful, generous, and friendly host than Cem. We highly recommend this place! NOTE: this apartment is small and it is in a very narrow but tall space (4 stories). So if you are not comfortable with small spaces or with steps, this would not be the place for you

The stay was great. The apartment is very comfortable, with good beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious balcony, and it’s located in a lively neighborhood. There’s a lot to see within walking distance. If you’re in good shape, you can even walk to the historic area of Sultanahmet. The ferry to Kadikoy is also nearby. Taxis are inexpensive, I recommend using Uber. It’s a pity we didn’t meet the host in person; it’s always nice to talk to a local. The apartment and its location are truly recommended!

The place itself was amazing—just as described and exactly like the photos. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. For anyone traveling to Istanbul by car, this location is ideal since it offers free parking right behind the building. The host was incredibly responsive, available almost 24/7, and checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed—he truly cared about our comfort. Everything was perfect, especially the hospitality. Highly, highly recommended!

My stay at this apartment in Istanbul was absolutely wonderful in every way! The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished with modern, stylish decor. Its location is excellent — very close to Taksim Square and right in the heart of the city. The street is mostly flat with a slight uphill walk, but it was easy and not a problem at all. I would like to give a special thank you to Ms. Nihal and her family, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Her communication felt more like family than just a host, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, if I return to Turkey, I will definitely book with her again. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for comfort, a great location, and a warm, friendly host.

Berek is a wonderful person but the property is not fit for elderly people you will have to climb stairs to get to the barrooms

Hello, First of all, I would like to thank him again. It was a much nicer stay for us than the pictures showed. We came with 4 people in total and it was a day of crazy fun. The interior of the house is immaculately clean, the kitchen was thought out to every detail, and we felt like our own home. Since it is a family business, our hearts were very comfortable. Two people who are sweet in the world with their parents:) It was the first, but it won't be the last. As a result of my long research, I am glad to say ‘Seyri Sapanca…' If you want to have a peaceful day where you can enjoy it with peace of mind, I would definitely recommend you to choose the place. Ceyda was a wonderful host – attentive, warm and with an exceptional sense of detail. I often stay in Airbnbs, but communicating with her was particularly pleasant and straightforward. Already upon arrival we were personally welcomed. Ceyda took the time to show us everything in peace. As a welcome, there were fresh baked cookies and traditional Turkish coffee – a loving gesture that immediately created a warm atmosphere. We were particularly touched by the little surprise for our daughter, who celebrated her first birthday during our stay – although I had only mentioned this casually. The house was spotlessly clean, the pool pleasantly heated, and the playhouse in the garden looked like new. The amenities also left nothing to be desired – from the comfortable, high-quality bed to the hair dryer, toaster and Çaykanne, everything was available. The place offered a lot of privacy, so we as a family enjoy two completely relaxing days

The accommodation is as in the photos, even better in real life :) a beautiful view of the quiet lake. We only stayed one night but we will definitely come back. A big thank you to Fatih's parents who welcomed us very well.

An absolutely amazing place to stay! Living room overlooks Galataport and we got to see quite a few large cruise ships. Loved all the resident kitties, one even had three kittens in the courtyard. Air conditioning is a godsend and the fan in the bedroom was perfect. Fair warning, it’s either up or down quite some stairs or a steep hill to get everywhere, but honestly we loved that. A great workout!

Ümit's place was wonderful. You get a view overlooking the Bosphorus. It is also very close to the train station which will lead you to all the touristic and historical place as well as the dock for anyone that wish to also venture to the Asian side of Turkiye. The place was easy to find, and the instructions left by Ümit was easy to understand. We enoyed our time and we would highly recommend Ümit's place to anyone who plans to stay a couple of days or more, venturing the historical and enchanting cty of Istanbul!

It was a dream, it was peaceful, it was hygienic, everything was perfect, but I think in the morning, the sound of the generator was very disturbing at certain hours, there was no negativity other than that, thank you for everything, we will choose it again

First, the host Efkan was terrific. Waiting for us at the front door, he carried our two suitcases up to the 5th floor apartment, saving two old travellers from the struggle of doing it ourselves! Efkan responded to all our texts almost immediately, and was a great host The flat is well equiped (although no oven),and has a fantastic terrace overlooking the Bosphorous, where my wife and I enjoyed a glass of wine every evening. A joy. It is very central (beside the Galata Tower), so good for seeing all the important attractions, either on foot, public transport or taxi. Being in the center of town means there are street noises at night, like car horns, or people on a night out...nothing unusual, but part of city life.

Absolutely loved this place. It is on the 5th floor with no elevator, so if you are not for climbing stairs, this isn't your place. The staff did tote the luggage up and down. I personally wanted the exercise, and the view was worth it. I don't know that Istanbul offers a better view. Beware of the Galataport drop off. A LOT of stairs to get home even though it says .2-.3 mile walk. Every bit is stairs from the water. I would stay here again if visiting Istanbul

The house and the area are very beautiful and the house is nice and has everything you need in it. We were also amazed by the house beyond description. The furniture, kitchen and utensils are very beautiful. The view is also very nice. You don’t want to leave the place. There are also grocery stores nearby in the nearby villages. The people of the village are welcoming and friendly. Mr. Ismail was interested in us and always asked about us and what if we needed something. He also suggested that we go to nearby activities and events. We enjoyed staying in this house and I want to come back again.

Everything you may need at home is available, large enough for 2 people, barbecue, cutlery, plates, glasses, teapot, stove, salt, sugar, spices, everything is thought of, and you can order home delivery from restaurants within walking distance, the terrace is of tremendous beauty, you can set up pleasant tables in peace and calm with a sea view, all details are thought of, thank you Mr. Mehmet
