Lovely Stone Country Cottage

EricRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was cosy, peaceful, and felt like a true home - exactly what we needed during a time of transition. The location is beautiful, with Branscombe Beach just a short drive away and Colyton village full of charm and kind people. Christine was a thoughtful, communicative host and everything was exactly as described. We’d happily stay again. Thank you, Christine.

Cheerful and cosy two bedroom cottage

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a very relaxing time at the beautiful, peaceful cottage. The location was just what we needed, lots of lovely walks and plenty of time to explore the area. The cottage was much bigger than we expected and was well equipped with all we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and tidy. The outside space was fantastic for our dog, completely secure and private. Plenty of areas to relax and read a book. This was just the kind of holiday we needed. Thank you Suzanne and Ross for being wonderful hosts! We will definitely be returning.

The Shepherds Hut, Tritchmarsh Farm

AnneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A perfect stay in the countryside near beaches. We had a brilliant stay with 2 children who really loved the tree swing, playing in the meadow, meeting the racoon and feeding the squirrel. We were able to cook meals on the small hob/oven radily and enjoy on the picnic table. Had a BBQ. The hut had enough equipment to allow us to cook and prepare meals and we appreciated electricity to use our radio. Bathroom is just a short walk from the hut and had warm water and an easy to use shower. We visited Seaton, Beer, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Jurassic footgolf and Donkey Sanctuary. All easily in reach of the hut. We couldn't recommend this more for a break to a simple life.

Beautiful farmhouse in Dorset

ClaudiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
If you get the opportunity to stay at Cats holiday home, you are certainly in for a wonderful, relaxing time. The stunning home is full of space and completely spotless. So many amenities that Cat has supplied -from Super comfy beds, to soft towels and all the kitchen utensils/appliances needed. It was luxury staying on this most peaceful farm with just the wonderful cows who you get to see too. Our two young boys had the best holiday and we are so grateful to Cat, who was nothing but brilliant and helpful. Thank you so much and we would love to stay again ☺️

Modern rustic cabin near Lyme Regis

MicaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The most beautiful surroundings for a long weekend escape. The outdoor bath and shower were a firm favourite. The place smelt incredible from the moment we walked in, like walking into a spa and just instantly relaxing. Really private and so beautifully done! We absolutely loved our time here - thank you! Lyme Regis was really great - never been before but what a lovely seaside town.. great recommendations, golden cap walk followed by pizza at the anchor inn, and the beautiful walk through the woodlands into Lyme Regis, is a must! Couldn’t recommend this place more 😊

Merrydown - spacious converted loft apartment

SushantRating, 5 stars8 months ago
It was the first time for us in Devon and the hosts of Merrydown made it super welcoming and memorable for us. Steve and Annabelle were extremely warm and enterprising. We haven't come across any B&B hosts that would come to escort you and show the place that too late in the evening. The photos of the room although well captured but in real, the room is much more spacious and comfortable. The interiors are beautiful and very clean. There are enough provisions made for the day light to come in. The house is passionately designed and build by Steve himself and hence one feels at home as soon as entering it. The nature and wildlife around the house complements the beauty of the house. We spotted a rabbit and a family of deer. While leaving, we had a lovely chat with Steve and we were lucky to get hold of super yummy home-made jams made from the fruits grown around by none other than Steve's mum. We wish to meet her in our next visit :) We highly recommend Merrydown to everyone.
