The Cottage boats a private patio with hot tub & incredible views, 55" Smart TV, Log Burning Stove, kitchen & dining area, 2 double bedrooms with Smart TVs (1 ensuite), & a main bathroom. Located just outside the chaos of the Lake District honeypot towns, we are just 5 mins from Caldbeck in the Lake District, 20 mins from Keswick & Derwentwater, 30 mins from the Solway Coast & 20 mins from the City of Carlisle.

Cumbrian Hideaway, The Cottage Barn

A small barn conversion in an idyllic setting in the Northern Fells. Your own little cottage. Completely self contained with a kitchen/living area. A small bathroom with bath and hand held power shower and loo. Upstairs two bedrooms. One double & one small twin. And table and chairs to allow for outside dining on the terrace. We are a 15 minute walk into the village or 2 minutes by car. Please note we welcome very well behaved dogs, but strictly not on the furniture or upstairs on the beds.

Garden Cottage is a lovely converted barn attached to Catlands Foot Farm tucked away on the hillside with views across to the Galloway Hills, Scotland. Just outside the Lake District National Park but within a 30 minute drive of Keswick you get the best of both worlds of exploring the attractions of the Northen Lake District and the Solway Coast with its quaint seaside towns. Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. The Coach House is an eighteenth century building at the heart of the village of Hesket Newmarket. The village has a famous community pub, the Old Crown, a shop and a brewery and is a great base for exploring the northern fells or as a stop on the Cumbria Way. The Coach House has been a moot hall, a musical instrument workshop and a garage. It became a house in the 1980s and was restored in 2023 to make a comfortable holiday home.

Beautifully renovated cottage in the heart of a thriving yet peaceful village on the edge of the Lake District, close to the northern fells. Within walking distance of a village pub, shop, cafes and gift shop. Caldbeck is situated on the fifth and final section of the Cumbria Way. The cottage is perfect for walkers and non-walkers as there is plenty to do around the area. If you are bringing your dog, please make sure you include them in your booking as there is a charge to bring a pet.

The perfect romantic retreat, Swallows Rest, is a converted 18th century hay barn. Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. The ground floor contains an open plan living room, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is a utility room accessed via a low stone doorframe. Upstairs is a mezzanine floor with king size bed, balcony and luxurious shower room

Hovel House Shed

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.
