We stayed at Mark's Place for two weeks of remote work and vacation and it was great! The location is just secluded enough to feel like you've gotten away but it's also an easy and pretty drive to Lunenburg for shopping and dining. We enjoyed watching the tides change from the living room couch and from the hot tub. Also, Mark's Place is fully stocked. It had every upscale item imaginable in the kitchen and each bathroom had its own set of towels, hairdryer, etc. It was also easy to communicate with Mark and his cleaning team and - for those who care - the WiFi was able to handle multiple laptops, phones and other devices without fail. As an added bonus, during our stay, we saw many different birds in the water and on the lawn, a deer family and a porcupine family.

We very much enjoyed our time at the cottage. The cottage is tastefully decorated, very clean, peaceful and quiet. Watching the herons in the morning from the deck was priceless. The kayaks were a wonderful addition to explore the cove and nearby channel. Peters communication ahead of our trip was outstanding with lots of helpful information. We can highly recommend a stay at Peters cottage.

Very convenient and comfortable space for our week stay in Lunenburg. Loved the quick walk downtown or to the harbour. We always took a different route walking through the historic homes to get to our destination - some up’s and downs but well worth it to really experience the town. Well stocked kitchen for dishes and pots, but plan to bring your own basics like cooking oils if you plan to make any meals.
