Farmstay holiday rentals in Sedgemoor

Booked fairly late but were so pleased we did. Perfect location for what we were doing and so close to lovely beaches in the area. Property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

I absolutely loved staying here. The house itself is very cosy and well set up with everything I needed. There are some beautiful walks on the door step and the surroundings are just lovely. Jo was on hand for anything I needed and was fantastic host. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area or looking for a an escape from the city.

We booked a last minute mini break to Bluebell grey, enjoying visits to the beach during the day followed by relaxed evenings back at the cottage playing badminton and boules in the garden. As the evening light faded we settled down inside the cosy cottage with a gin and tonic or two playing cards around the table, feeling relaxed and comfortable. Thank you Michael for being so responsive with our last minute booking and for being so accommodating with an earlier check in time and equally relaxed with a later departure time. I will hold that lovely evening view across the fields in my memory. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at Higher Blannicombe! The cottage is beautifully kitted out and has everything you could need for your stay. The cookies on arrival were a lovely touch and we really enjoyed the other free snacks! The views from the cottage are amazing and we loved waking up to the rolling countryside. Phil was a fab host and made check in and check out super easy. By far the best Airbnb we've ever stayed at!

We had the most wonderful time staying at the secluded barn for a few nights - we didn't want to leave! The views were amazing with wonderful local walks in nature. Hosts were super attentive and helpful with advice on what to do and where to go. The barn itself was just perfect - great shower, comfy bed, nice little kitchen with a gas stove and a fire pit outside where we cooked sausages under the stars. Left feeling refreshed and happy.

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

I stayed here for a couple of nights with my husband and son as a base of operations to visit Lyme Regis and Longleat Safari Park. The cabin was much bigger than we thought it was going to be, really clean with everything you could need inside. The eco toilet was absolutely fine, but you obviously have to be prepared to go outside in the dead of night sometimes. It didn’t bother us though as the farm is very secure and felt safe at all times. It was nice one morning waking up to sheep in the paddock next door, which we watched for a while. The host Lizzie was great, very attentive and relaxed, and we didn’t have to wait long for her to arrive. It was a lovely stay and my son was really sad to leave at the end because it felt like a mini adventure by itself to him.

Small very well equipped, comfortable, characterful cottage with lovely front and rear gardens. There is a nice outlook over Somerset levels yet easy walking distance into Street and it's amenities. The accomodation is in a great location for exploring all that Somerset has to offer.

We had such a wonderful stay for my partners birthday, Clive went the extra mile to make us feel welcome by putting up some birthday decorations and leaving us some treats for when we arrived. It's a perfect place to get away and unwind in nature, we were always surrounded by animals whether it was Norman the cat visiting during a bbq, hanging out with the goats, or watching the ducks drift about in the stream while relaxing in the hot tub. Thank you very much to Clive and Nikki for hosting us. I cannot recommend Kingfisher enough, we truly had an amazing time :)

Just WOW! Was the perfect weekend away and oh my is the place everything and more. Went down to the Jurassic Coast as it was recommended and not a long drive and that was just perfect. Definitely won’t be the last time we stay here! Thank you so much

A wonderful stay at the Collie for 2 nights. A wonderful well equipped Sheppard's Hut and the extra special touches that Chloe provided from the arrival hamper to the hot tub being preheating for arrival. The views across the Somerset levels are beautiful and the night time sky was perfect for relaxing around the fire/bbq and in the hot tub. Thr local area of Glastonbury and cider farms add to this lovely weekend.

We had amazing stay at Axe Valley View for a long birthday weekend in June. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay with beautiful valley views. We especially loved how wildlife and eco-friendly it was, both inside and out. A short drive to Lyme Regis where we attended the Fossil Festival 2025 and great local hiking routes, including Golden Cap in Bridport. Alison was a lovely and welcoming host and we would highly recommend a visit.

Delightful small cottage. Everything you need, welll described. Very friendly hosts. But best is the location! Remarkably peaceful and bucolic.

We had a really relaxing few days. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We will certainly consider booking again next time we come to Dorset. Thank you.

Fiona is a really excellent host, so friendly and welcoming. She even sent back to us via the post some things we left behind, which was so kind. It was really sweet, charming decor (Fiona clearly has excellent taste) and 2 great sized double beds. Surrounding countryside was lovely with lots of great walks from the house. It’s all on one level (the only stairs are to go up to the entrance) so worked well with us and our 2 small children. The only watch out I would have are the beams in the kitchen are quite low so one to be aware of if you are tall. Definitely one we would come back to again

Debbie’s place is a little piece of paradise, the setting is stunning, the gardens are fantastic and the cottage is warm and cosy whilst also being spacious and really well laid out. We had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. The open plan kitchen into the cosy living room left us all feeling connected, utility space was really useful, conservatory with stunning views allowed us to dine together and relax during the day. Outside area is also stunning for meals on the patio and bbq’s and the hot tub was great to relax in on an evening looking at the stars in peace and tranquility.. there’s a slight walk up to the property across a field but once you’re in the cottage and its gardens it’s worth every step. Great for the dogs too. Loads to do in the area, our highlight was Lyme Regis beach.. many thanks to Debbie and everyone who made us feel so welcome. We would go back to Debbie’s place in a heartbeat!

Having grown up in the area, Kennel Farm is the place we choose to come back for our family holiday every year. We love the house and surroundings. Excellent location and Tanya is a perfect host. Highly recommend.

There are not enough words to do this property and Ava justice . It is truly stunning from its location to the laundered bedsheets , super equipped kitchen and so much more . We were made to feel so welcome . Ava and Chris really do go above and beyond . Our son Archie loved it and was encouraged by Ava to explore and see the cows . He really didn’t want to leave . Honestly we all wanted to stay . If you stay here , you will not be disappointed. We are looking for an excuse to come back

Highly recommended. This is our second visit. The apartment is very clean, well appointed and set in beautiful, well kept gardens. We enjoyed being able to walk our little dog in the private field/paddock at the rear of the property with lovely views of the surrounding fields and countryside. Well worth a visit and Steve is a very welcoming host.

Our stay at Godminster cottage was wonderful and I cannot fault the hosting by Belu. From the moment we booked he was friendly and easily contactable no was very accommodating to our various requests. The cottage itself is beautiful with a lovely walled garden and outside seating area. We will definitely be back to visit again!

Beautiful setting and a beautifully built log cabin. Peaceful and tranquil. Well worth the money and we will return in the future. Visitors need to visit the anchor inn in seatown for lovely food and drinks

We had a perfect little stay in the Nook. It’s beautifully equipped with all you could need, but without clutter. We love not having to move things out the way to get settled in. Very importantly the bed is huge and super-comfy with the most gorgeous cotton sheets. The thoughtful selection of breakfast things was perfect. We’d love to stay again next time we’re in the area.

It was amazing to stay with Alison & Steven again for the second time. Their home has become are new frequent getaway and we love the hospitality that was provided! Thanks again x
