Here you can start your mountain tour right outside the door, both in summer and winter. From the cabin it is 4 km to the car park at Spranget, and from there it is approx. 7 km to the DNT cabin Rondvassbu, the heart of Rondane. If you want to combine the mountain tour with a day of rafting in Sjoa, it is only a 30-minute drive from the cabin. The cabin can also be a base for those who like to fish in Lågen or in some of the many mountain waters in Rondane. From the "whiskey bench" or barbecue area at the cabin you have a lovely view of Jotunheimen to the west and Svinslåberget to the south. In the center of Otta you will find many grocery stores, restaurants and shops. The center of Otta is about a 20-minute drive from the cabin. Should you feel like being served a meal on the mountain, you can get it at Rondane Fjellstue, which is about 500 meters from the cabin. During the school holidays, there is also a small grocery store and a cafe in the center of Mysusæter 600 meters from the cabin. Opening times depend on the season, so check in advance if it is open, we recommend shopping at Otta. There is a road all the way through summer and winter. Parking is in a designated space 30 meters from the cabin. In winter, the road to the cabin is plowed on Fridays and Sundays, from 1 December until after Easter. It is also plowed during the Christmas holidays, New Year, winter holidays and Easter. If you arrive on a weekday and it has snowed since the last plowing, you can park for a fee in the car park at Mysusæter, and walk about 600 meters to the cabin. If the road is not open, transport by scooter can be ordered in advance from the Mysusæter service centre. The cabin has installed water, sewage and electricity. The cabin is partially heated all year round with heating cables in the bathroom and a panel oven in the living room. The cabin has a soapstone fireplace and a wood-burning stove, and we make sure it's wood available. In the main cabin, there are no separate bedrooms, but two sleeping alcoves. The alcoves are divided into a double bed alcove and in the other alcove there is a bunk bed. In addition, there is an annex with a family bunk with room for three. Bed linen/towels must be brought. Washing must be done by the guests. Smoking not allowed. Animals are most welcome, but not in the beds. There is running water in the bathroom, in the kitchen there is only a sink. From the parking lot, there is a small hill of about 20 meters to the cabin, manageable for everyone in normal condition, but if you have difficulty walking, you might need help. Guests must clean the cabin themselves, and there is a detailed description of how the cleaning should be done, so expect that this will take some time

Cottage idyll by Lake Furus

Guest cabin with electricity and hot and cold water at Furusjøen, Kvamsfjellet. The cabin is in the immediate vicinity of both hiking trails, ski slopes and the lake. It is located in a tuna with another cabin that owner has its own. There is a road all the way to the door, also in winter. The cabin has an open solution with kitchen, living room and double bed. There is a private bathroom with a shower. Heating via electricity and/or wood-burning oven. There is access to a wood stove on the property. Electric vehicle charger Rowboat can be arranged by agreement with the owner.

Cabin, Gudbrandsdalen, close to Rondane and Jotunheimen

This is a small farm on Sødorpfjellet, about 4-5 km east from Vinstra city center. No toll road. Running water, shower, toilet and electricity and charger for electric car. 3 bedrooms, 1 family bunk bed and 2 good double beds, cozy fireplace in the living room. There is a heat pump/AC, wifi TV channels. Cozy cabin, centrally located in relation to the mountain. Near Jotunheimen and Rondane. Charming cabin very close to Rondane National Park. At the cabin we can tempt you with fireplace and beautiful views as well as table tennis in the basement and large playground outside in the woods for the little ones. Good hiking possibilities in both summer and winter. Otherwise, the cabin consists of a large bathroom with slate floors, double sink, shower, toilet and washing machine, a spacious kitchen and dining room as well as a living room with sofa and TV. There is also a porch and a fire pit. There is a road all the way to the door, even in winter.

Cabin, great location, Furusjøen, Rondane

Amazing view! Family cabin on Kvamsfjellet with lots of possibilities. Experiences, trips, skiing, cycling, fishing, walking, well-being and recreation. Here you can enjoy yourself, outside and inside. The cabin is small, intimate and cozy. Outside there are nice outdoor areas, on the front side, and down towards the lake there is a porch. There is great hiking terrain all seasons. Skigard. 2 kayaks and rowing boat can be used, at your own risk. The tenant is responsible for keeping the cabin and its surroundings in order. The cabin is left as you found it.

Strap on your skis right outside the cabin wall, or get on your bike for miles of hiking opportunities. We also have a canoe for free use on the nearby Årvillingen. After the trip you can relax in the delicious sauna. The cabin is spacious, well-maintained and contains everything you need for unforgettable days in one of Norway's finest mountain areas in Rondane National Park.

Cozy farmhouse

Simple and peaceful accommodation on a farm with a central location only 2 km from Otta city center. The house is located by itself on the farm in rural surroundings. Here you can relax and enjoy the sunset from both the porch and the sofa. The house has all the facilities and is suitable for couples. In the surrounding area you can find nice hiking options and several exciting activities. In Otta city center you will find, among other things, Amfi shopping center and the delicatessen Døkakjøtt.

Mountain cabin next to Rondane National Park

Simple and charming mountain cabin located at the tree line, 1000 meters above sea level. It is only one kilometer from the national park, and it is five kilometers to walk to the Peer Gynt cabin. The cabin has neither running water nor electricity, but it has solar power, which is generally sufficient for charging phones and using lamps. Water is fetched from the stream behind the cabin. There is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding next to the cabin. The cabin is heated with firewood.

Nice old farmhouse

Idyllic old farmhouse in a scenic area in the middle of Peer Gynt's kingdom. A unique place near Rondane and a hiking eldorado with high mountains and short distance to several fishing waters. This is an undeveloped, old mountain farm where you can really find peace and quiet and recharge your batteries. The farm has a large fenced area where both children and four-legged friends can roam freely.

Welcome to Rondane. 2 km from Mysusæter. The cabin is located on top of the Rondane mountain plateau, where you can go on short and long hikes. A short trip to Ranglarhø for a beautiful view, the Brudesløret waterfall, walk/bike/drive to Spranget and a long hike to Rondvassbu and/or hikes to the top (over 2000 meters).
