Apartment holiday rentals in Sellafield

It's difficult to say in a few words not only how good the property is but also the people renting it out. First up - the property was perfect. Compact, immaculate, modern, good location. Had everything I needed with a TV for chill time and a great internet connection for work etc. Shower was awesome, heating great, bed mega comfortable and I felt nice and cosy in there. So on to the host. Jen went the extra mile, seriously amazing host. I needed somewhere for the the before the property was available, I messaged her and she juggled things around and got the cleaners in to the property mega early and got a turnaround so I got the extra night. in addition to that she also held the booking open for longer if I needed it, not many folks would do that and I truly appreciate it. Bottom line folks - a good property is only as good as the host so together these made it a phenomal stay and exceptional value. Couldn't rate it any higher. Thanks Jen and team x

The most beautiful property at the most beautiful location. The apartment is even better than what the pictures manage to capture, with the location to die for. You have incredible views from each one of the windows. They have provided with very well laid out and detailed information and instructions about everything in and around. Will definitely revisit.

Craig place is perfect for a short and just across from butcher, baker and candle stick maker …and a pub! Lovely touch of some South African wine on arrival (how did you know)

The location is at the entrance of Windermere, easy to find and parking is easy. The property is well-decorated.

We had a great stay- so beautiful being next to the river- very peaceful but also 5 minute walk into Keswick high street with lots of restraunts. Easy to park, warm and cosy, would definitely recommend

This is a lovely ground floor flat in an excellent location, it is very well equipped with a lot of nice features and has everything you could possibly need. It is also really nice to arrive to find coffee, tea, milk, etc when you get off the bus after travelling. There is even a little garden area to sit in or hang things out to dry, which is a big plus. Would recommend. It is fantastic for one person or couple.

This was our first visit to the Lake District and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The location was perfect for the walking and hiking we did. The deck was a great place to sit with our coffee and the view of Catbells was beautiful! If we come back, this is where I want to stay and I highly recommend it!

Stayed here over the course of 5 weeks. Very comfortable stay and had everything I needed. Very responsive and when I had any query’s and was happy to accommodate an extra night. Fan was an added bonus during some very warm nights. Great location and parking outside building.

Absolutely great find. Provides camp site camping pods and what we went for; fully furnished cottages. We chose the smallest cottage (badgers den) and it was perfect for 2 people and a dog. Great location as a base camp for the lakes. The host is also friendly helpful and a good source of knowledge for the local area. I greatly endorse this place and will be coming back again

This place has beautiful views of Ullswater across the gardens day and night, a comfortable bed, suitably equipped kitchen area, and feels well located for exploring around the local area. We had a lovely few days here getting out in nature, and enjoyed a meal at the Inn on the lake in Glenrriding 15 mins away, and a Sunday dinner at the Brakenrigg pub at the bottom of the road. There’s waterfalls, walks and boat rides all within a short drive, and Matt got in touch via message and email prior to our stay, so we felt there would be communication if there was anything we needed.

Ashley and Steve, have a beautiful property which felt like home, clear instructions of how to get to the property, local amenities, sights to see and things to do. Property was spotless and looks exactly like the pictures, spacious and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and visit again in the future.

What a great place to stay! The apartment was immaculately clean, with great facilities and in a really good location for both the town and exploring the other areas in the Lake District. We spent most of our days out walking and it was the perfect place to come back to. If we return the Lakes in the future which we hope to we would definitely book again.

Really comfortable and quiet apartment right in the centre of Windermere town. Very convenient for shops and restaurants. Very comfortable bed and lovely that it is dog friendly. It was the ideal spot for a weeks visit. Note that there is no parking space with this listing, however we never had any issues getting a parking spot across the street in the evenings, which suited us well as we were out hiking for most of the days anyway. Host was very helpful and responsive.

Such a steal last minute booking on a bank holiday, we were so surprised it hadn’t been booked being in such a central location and obviously the hot tub which is always a big swading point for us. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. So spacious for 2. The hot tub was a lovely temp with a little cover above us which helped with privacy from other houses and the rain. Though there was a little tear or two in it which meant rain seeped through but this didn’t bother us. We were a little taken back there wasn’t a microwave either but again this wasn’t an issue. Everything was spotless. Round the corner from one of our favourite pubs (the crafty baa) and plenty of food, drink and shops around. Thank you so much for having us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay xx

Just had an incredible weekend break at Jenny's gorgeous accommodation. I have seen other reviews saying that the photos and description doesn't do this place justice and I totally agree. The lodge had everything we needed, was perfectly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The views from the balcony are breathtaking!! The location is so picturesque, peaceful and clean and extremely close to Keswick. We took full advantage of the gym, swimming pool, sauna and hot tub, which was a brilliant way to start/finish the day. Also highly recommend the White Horse pub, where I have eaten the best chicken burger ever! Jenny, thank you for the kind and thoughtful treats. We highly recommend your place to anyone!! xxx

We booked this accom very last minute(3hrs before we checked in), and turned out to be a great choice. Having never heard of Whitbarrow Village we did not know what to expect and was very pleased to find this apartment was part of a larger holiday village complex. The apartment was very well kitted out and had all mod cons you would want, some cleaning products and tea/coffee bits,plus a nice outdoor seating area and close access to the pool and games areas. The main reception building was very clean and the pool facilities were fantastic as well as the kids games area & cinema room (9yr old with us). Only a 15 min drive to Keswick or Penrith made it a great location just off the A66 but so peaceful & quiet. Friendly on-site staff and well maintained garden areas. Overall a great little find and will definetly stay at Whitbarrow Village again.

Patrick’s apartment is a great place in a stunning location, with everything you need for your trip away. The place is ideal for friends looking for a couple of nights away. I would highly recommend and hope to return for another stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Jade’s place over the weekend while I was taking part in the Lakesman triathlon. The apartment was perfect for the four of us (my mam, dad, girlfriend, and me) — spotlessly clean, cosy, and really well equipped. The location was ideal, with parking included and just a short walk into the centre of Keswick. It was a great base to relax and unwind before and after the race. Jade was a brilliant host — friendly, responsive, and clearly thoughtful in how the space is set up. Would definitely stay again. Thanks, Jade!

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

Jay's Nest it's a great place to stay. Friendly hosts, convenient location, close to the centre of the village and many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Perfect base for those who wish to explore Lake District. The flat has home from home feel. The kitchen has all essentials and no need to wash up, dishwasher does it for you. Clean, working washing machine with dryer if needed. The seating area very cosy with nice views through windows, you can relax after a long day walking. Big bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of space for storing your gear/clothes etc. Again, super clean, couldn't ask for more. Fair size spotless ensuite with good size shower. Plenty of space to keep what you need in the bathroom. Sadly, due to the weather, we were not able to use the outside area where having a morning coffee or evening drink must be super enjoyable. It was our first time in LD and we will be back to Jay's Nest, that's for sure. Needless to say, we highly recommend Jay's Nest!
