Holiday rentals with a patio in Selwyn District

Great place to stay, a little out of town but stunning views made up for that. Very quiet and peaceful with very good heating. Would have like to stay another night but they were booked out.

Amazing place to stay, Julie is super friendly and welcoming. Guest house was awesome, clean, homely and some super cool quirks. Highly recommend and hope to stay again on my next visit to Christchurch.

What a beautiful place to spend a couple of nights, it was so warm and cozy, I was worried it might be a little cold but it wasn’t at all! The bed linen was very nice too! Had everything you could need for a couple of night stay. Would definitely come back and stay again 😊

First time to Methven and we loved it. The apartment had everything we needed and was very cozy. Look forward to going back in the winter.

Great location. Enjoyed the spa after busy day of skiing . Lovely restaurant on site. Excellent communication. Nice warm apartment and easy to heat up if needed. We had a wonderful time .

We have never stayed somewhere as incredible. We were nervous being on someone’s property but Steve is absolutely amazing. Super kind and left us to our own devices after checking in. The fireplace was absolutely worth every penny. The bed was beyond cozy (especially with the heated blanket). The luxury features really elevated the space. The bathroom floor is heated along with a heated towel rail. The shower and bath are even more stunning in person and the vibe in the backyard is phenomenal. He even has a parking space right up to your gate so parking is super simple. We will most definitely be back here! This is where we will aim to stay anytime we visit in ski season seeing as Methven is only a 30ish minute drive (a stunning drive at that). The lights also, so fancy and smooth. No glaring lights early in the morning. It allows for a nice slow start to the morning. And the back veranda also has an awning which meant that we could chill back there without the morning sun! Very tidy, spacious, and comfortable family home with everything you need. Plenty of off-street parking. Easy to get to from Christchurch airport. No fuss entry. Easy 5 minute walk to town centre for cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, takeout, and retail. Timely communication from host. Very enjoyable stay!

Great value with a great host. The place is just as it is in the pictures. The place is very warm and comfortable. Great backyard and perfect for a family stay. Very handy (walking distance) to Selwyn Sport Centre and also the aquatic centre.

Awesome, and quiet, location in Methven with an easy walk to the hot pools and main town centre. Modern house with an electric door lock which was super handy. Great house for entertaining with an awesome outdoor patio areas to enjoy in summer months. Loved the added bonus of the home being pet friendly and being able to bring our dog with us. Super responsive and helpful hosts. Would definitely stay again for another weekend in Methven.
