Lovely spot, very large for just the one person I was. Solid central base for many of the fine Senja hikes and catch up on my reading. Good kitchen which I used every evening for my ‘fine dining’ Nice to have washing machine and dryer as well. Beautiful views from the house across the Fjord and towards Segla mountain. Responsive host and yummie chocolates as a welcome gift.

We had an extraordinary time at John's place as a group of 8. The house and surroundings are even more beautiful than in the photos, the location is perfect to explore the region, the value for money unbeatable. We had everything we needed. John was kind, helpful, and responsive. Highly recommend!!

We felt very comfortable in Vidar's big house. The view is a dream. The house is perfectly located to explore the north of the island. But you can just as easily relax on the terrace. A small supermarket and a gas station are not far away. We would like to come back and can recommend the house without reservation.

A real gem - the cottage right by the sea is perfectly equipped and very comfortable. We immediately felt at home. Andreas was a very attentive and warm host for us. He was always available for questions and information. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend the house and book again! THANK YOU ANDREAS for everything!

It is a beautiful house with nature all around you. The Sauna is really nice. The last 10km can be difficult to drive depending on weather and/or season, but it is worth it. We would come again!

Everything was perfect. The brazier is at the end of the street and not in the garden but it wasn't a problem. Very nice cottage, very well furnished and equipped. We will return without hesitation and can only recommend it 🤗 Highly responsive and accommodating host.

Dan is great and friendly host who reply very fast to our questions. Cabin is great with everything you need. Comfortable rooms, great kitchen. However do note the cabin is a short drive from the main road (a little bumpy ride). But very private and nice cabin next to a quiet river.

A very peaceful and idyllic fishing village. The village itself is quite small and the nearest store is 20 km away, which is worth taking into account. The island of Senjan is full of wonderful places, which are a short drive away. In Skrolsvik, there is an old military station/base built by the Nazis, which is indeed a place worth seeing, and hiking trails to the nearby mountains start just a few kilometers from the accommodation. The host of the accommodation is very friendly and responded quickly to questions. The property is very large and spacious. Beds were found for a total of 10 people in four different bedrooms. Strong recommendation for the destination!

!!! The photos of Stian are depressed, what we were expecting, however actually when you come in and sit on the couch where the fjord is beautiful and facing the sea makes you feel that Senja's other beauty even has some inferior! 100% recommend

We had an amazing time in Kari‘s and Rainer‘s house. It is a time capsule from the 1960s and has a lot of charme. The view of the fjord is unbeatable. We had a great time preparing food in the kitchen that also dates back to the 60s, old fridge, stove and appliances included. The house was a perfect base for exploring the island and Kari and Rainer helped us out with very good recommendations for hikes and restaurants. We can really recommend the place!

I stayed at Monica's cabin for entire 4 months during my work at a nearby airport. I felt like home right away and was very satisfied with the accommodation - there is all you need for a longer stay (except WiFi). The cabin is located between Bardufoss (inland) and Sørreisa (coast), and it's 15 min by car to either town. The Host(s) are very friendly and helpful. To anyone interested in arctic food: Hjerttind Rein is a Sami Reindeer farm close to the cabin and there's a lot of codd in the sea nearby. The highlight however is a fire in the cabin's stove, when northern lights are dancing over a frozen arctic winter landscape outside ...

Clean and well decorated accommodation, located on the beautiful island of Sommarøy with its crystal clear waters. Possibility of walking hikes from the house. Accommodation matches the description but kitchen and a bedroom a little small for 4 adults. However on this beautiful island it is hard to find better.

A beautiful cabin at a beautiful location, nice hosts and good size bedrooms.

Incredible surroundings. We were fortunate to have a crisp clear night when the Aurora appeared above the house. We also had lots of snow which was great fun for walking, sledging and playing. The hot tub is a wonderful indulgence.

Absolutely beautiful place. Much nicer than in the pictures! Large house with plenty of space and difficult bedrooms. Amazing view of the sea and nice jetty to swim and fish from. Here we will come back!

We cannot say enough about how lovely our stay was at this beautiful property. The views, the comfortable accommodations, the sauna and jacuzzi, cozy and well supplied kitchen…Tromvik Lodge had it all! We really appreciated how responsive Tore was since we needed some guidance with it being our first time in Norway. He made everything accessible for us and we felt right at home. Despite it being cloudy during our stay, we had two spectacular nights viewing the Aurora borealis! It was a dream come true in the most perfect setting at this lodge.

Great view around and quiet at night

Kathrin was very helpful, waiting up for us at check-in as we got stuck in a snowstorm. The place has a gorgeous view on a beautiful island with plenty of outdoor things to do. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the host was around for questions. Would absolutely come again.
