Family-friendly holiday rentals in Serene Lakes

This cabin was very cozy and just what we were looking for. Great place for a couple. Enjoying the hot tub while snow fell around us was a memorable experience and one of my favorite parts of the whole trip! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and there were several great restaurants within walking distance that we checked out. I loved our stay there!

Janet was a wonderful host. She was incredibly responsive and made the weekend so easy. We loved her place, too!

We just returned from an amazing stay at Drew’s beautiful home in Tahoe! The house was absolutely perfect for our family — spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The location was fantastic, close to everything, but still peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was a huge hit, and all the little amenities made it feel like a true home away from home. Drew was a wonderful host — responsive, helpful, and made sure our stay was perfect from start to finish. Truly our best Airbnb experience ever — we can’t wait to come back!

The house is extremely cosy, we felt right at home. The fireplace was ready to start when we arrived and we enjoyed a night of game board (which are numerous and of quality) in front of the warming fire. The decoration was very well done and the kitchen very well equipped. The bathrooms although on the smaller side were well furnished and the quality of the body wash products excellent. Roxie and Greg were very communicative and helped resolving an issue before we arrived. We would definitely come back, it's a perfect location for spending Christmas.

Doug and Marlene’s place is everything you could want for a Tahoe getaway. After staying in 10+ places in Truckee, this is by far our favorite. It’s spacious, cozy, and fully stocked, with plenty of room for gear. The abundance of towels (a rare find!), a huge kitchen, and an oversized garage - big enough for two SUVs with room to spare - made our stay even better. The hot tub is perfectly placed right off the back door, super private, and no snow trekking required. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too. We loved it so much, we’ve already booked our next stay!

Peggy is an amazing host! She was helpful, responsive and joy to interact with. She was very welcoming to me and my dog Cuban. Very dog friendly place which was nice to have. The place is peaceful and tons of room to room around with your pet and different spaces to relax in. We will definitly come back!

My girlfriends and I loved our stay at the Big Dipper! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. There was plenty of space for the six of us. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the stunning deck, in the hot tub and at nearby Speedboat Beach. Sally was a communicative and helpful host, and her local recommendations are spot on! We would happily to return and will not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family.

We had a very nice stay. You could tell there was a lot of thought put in to making guests feel comfortable, accommodated and informed. The location was perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beautiful lake.

We really liked this place. Rural, very scenic. The cabin is very well constructed and well maintained. Nice step-in shower. Good kitchen. Bring food. There aren’t many dining choices nearby. The trading post at Dutch Flat is surprisingly well stocked, which is a good thing because the mini-mart/gas station at the Dutch Flat off ramp is the only other place around to get provisions.

I can’t say enough about David’s place. This little cottage has all the feelings of home. It’s super cozy and has a great location. The view is stunning from the deck. David was great about communicating with me and responding to questions. I hope to be able to return to Lake Tahoe someday and I will definitely look into staying here again. This is the perfect Tahoe getaway. Easy access to the lake (rocky but lovely) and a great breakfast spot just next door. Would highly recommend if you have several couples or family that want a getaway.

Great spot in a fantastic location. Steps from the beach and downtown. Easy access to other fantastic beaches with just a short drive, too. It is not a luxurious place by any means, but the location is what makes this little gem stand out. Highly recommend if you value location over amenities/luxury.

Heather's home was fantastic. It was clean & comfortable and in a great location. Of all the vacation homes we've stayed in, this one was my favorite. The kitchen had all the tools needed to cook. This is such a cute cabin! We loved the location in Tahoe Vista only one block from the lake! The kitchen was clean and stocked and we enjoyed drinking our coffee on the deck surrounded by trees. Laura was responsive, friendly, and made us feel right at home! We had a great trip!

We loved this condo! It’s the perfect location for a ski vacation at Tahoe Donner (ski in, ski out!), it was quiet, it had gorgeous views of the snow, it was large and clean and well stocked. Thank you for a great stay!!

Clean, organized, and full of everything you'd need. The owner clearly put a lot of work into the space and it shows. Many Airbnbs are bare-bones but this one is not. So many labels and instructions!

The house is so cute and quaint with beautiful scenery. Located close enough to town for a quick trip and yetbfar enough from town to enjoy peace and quiet. The house was clean and offered all the amenities of home. I would highly recommend this home
