Remote Work and Relaxation The house includes a workspace with a monitor and USB-C connection, ideal for working in peace while enjoying views of the surrounding countryside. For relaxation, you will also find: a piano a vinyl record player a Bluetooth speaker a Bluetooth/DVD projector a pool table located in the barn There is no television. Garden and Outdoor Area The south-facing garden offers a wide, open panoramic view over the hills of the Morvan. You can enjoy: a table with a parasol for outdoor meals a small table in the shade of the apple trees lounge chairs and armchairs two hammocks for relaxing A chicken coop is also available. Guests can collect fresh eggs and enjoy the gentle rhythm of country life. The house is located in a preserved rural setting. At times you may hear: cows grazing in the nearby fields geese or sheep in the distance a tractor passing along the country road At night, the absence of light pollution allows for exceptional stargazing. Nearby thermal baths and massage services about 10 minutes away many hiking trails throughout the Morvan Natural Park a weekly visiting grocer on Thursdays (meat and cheese) Heating The house is heated exclusively with a wood-burning stove. Firewood is provided and stored in the barn about 20 meters from the house. Guests should be comfortable lighting and maintaining a wood fire. Life with the Chickens Guests are asked to look after the chicken coop during their stay: open it in the morning and close it in the evening collect the eggs check the water Important Information ⚡ Electricity consumption is monitored. Beyond an average of 7 kWh per day, additional usage is charged at the current rate (approximately €0.25 per kWh). It never happens if you don't charge your car. Our two-tiered approach

A lovely bright house right next to Notre Échelle 1. With a swimming pool in the garden with a large sun terrace. In 2024, it was converted into a vacation home where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farm with new elements such as a new kitchen and bathroom. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. Here you will find peace and quiet, the beautiful countryside, but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Beautiful rustic house, with 1 ha of land, a pond (very often dry), and many trees. 7 bedrooms, ideal for a small family or a group such as several families, or for wellness seminars (poor Wi-Fi and 4G connection). We no longer accept parties and birthdays for adults; it disturbs the neighborhood too much. A haven of calm and nature. Places for rejuvenation and creation, but also conducive to interaction.
