Great place. It was very clean and looked exactly like the photos. The caretaker, Kailash, was also very polite and helpful. The only downside is that it’s in a gated society and the neighbours complain about the smallest of noise. There was a complaint about people talking laughing in the swimming pool even though it was during daytime, not that loud and there was no music or anything of the sort. The place itself, however, is great and well worth it. Maybe if you’re going with a smaller group (we were 9 people), you won’t have issues with noise complaints either.

Had a really nice week here, pool was cleaned daily and was big enough to swim in and enjoy, the beach nearby is beautiful and there are almost no people on it.

It was really wonderful to experience co-host Ritu guiding us regarding check in and about getting dinner at even 10:30-11 at night. Great place feels like home yet experience of tourism ❤️ Thanks Ritu time and again for your wonderful hospitality 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

We booked Sunflower Villa for a relaxing, fun weekend getaway with just the girls -- and it was perfect. Having already stayed at Louisa before, our expectations were high and we're happy to say that they were all met. Peaceful, relaxing, full of lovely plants and birds, and adding to that, the super helpful staff made this the best weekend trip we've had in a while.

we came with family of 12 . Praful was very responsive always helpful and professional in our 3 days stay, breakfast was amazing. we cooked for few meals as couple of our family members were ill due to outside food we had. One day maid helped in cooking dal and rice which was extremely helpful. overall very peaceful place to stay with family with very close to main road , restaurants. thanks again Praful and their staff for maintaining the property so well.

This penthouse is very decent and specious property. we both the families feel homely during 3 days span. Highly recommended for the families.

We were a group of over 20 people who stayed at Elysium Gateway, and the property was exactly as described. The interiors were thoughtfully designed and well-maintained. I’d especially like to commend the house staff - they kept the place spotless, prepared delicious meals (honestly better than most restaurants we tried), and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The owner and manager were very responsive and even helped us with contacts for tempo travellers. Overall, I strongly recommend this place!

What a beautiful property! We were specifically looking for a Goan heritage home that was budget-friendly and nestled in nature and we were so lucky to find this villa. It perfectly captures the charm of old-world Goa, while offering all the modern amenities one could need. The villa is incredibly well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, making our stay truly comfortable and memorable. We especially loved spending peaceful afternoons and evenings in the lush garden, surrounded by swaying palm trees. A special thanks to the owner for being so responsive and helpful throughout, this stay was everything we hoped for and more.

As usual, Shoba lavished her gift of hospitality on us. A more generous and caring Airbnb hostess would be hard to find. An added plus to renting here is that Shoba runs a snack place/restaurant downstairs. Many times when we were just too tired to cook, we ordered from the restaurant and Shoba cooked up some very tasty dishes for us. She is an outstanding cook. Our review by the pros and cons: Pros: 1)Tasty meals from restaurant 2) Shoba's hospitality 3) peace and quiet 4) large kitchen 5) on-site resident cat (Pena) and parrot (Beno) to love on. Cons: 1) Neighborhood is prone to power outages 2) Livingroom and kitchen can get a bit warm - bedrooms however are fine with AC units in each room 3) not unique to Shoba's is the common practice of burning garbage outside - can be an aggravation for folks with respiratory issues. For us, the pros outweigh the cons and we have already booked her place for next year. I highly recommend Shoba's Place.

A beautiful place to stay in the bustling neighborhood of Candolim. Ours was a last moment booking and we were fortunate to have found Karthik and Elrika's place. Karthik is a lovely human being. He was generous and ever-helpful with whatever we needed during the stay. And the lovely dogs, who love getting all the attention from the guests. The hosts have a large beautiful garden consisting of plums, figs and mangoes to chillies and herbs. It is an abode of all sorts of birds. Loved the sustainable practices the hosts follow - composting (and using the compost in the garden), strict waste segregation, and sediment filters for drinking water. Many places unnecessarily use wasteful RO filters for drinking water. Surprisingly, Goan well-water is sparkling clean. Also, do ask for Karthik's delicious home made kombuchas. It's a treat in the summers. Looking forward to seeing them again!

Host Elton's property is located in South Goa. It's a newly constructed independent bungalow and easily accessible by road. It's slightly interior with a nice neighborhood as well. Property is fully furnished with Three Spacious bedrooms, Attached Bathrooms and also a nice balcony facing the paddy fields/ lake.All the attached bathrooms have hot water facilitythroughout. Living room is also quite big enough to accommodate a group of 6. Kitchen is semi furnished with utensils, gas stove, microwave, crockery sets. There's a very nice sit out area that adds to the beauty of the property. Two Cars can be easily parked inside the property. Overall, it's definitely worth staying in this property. Mr Elton was really helpful right from the time of booking the property till we vacated.. Our 3 day stay in the property seemed like we spent a few hours. It was very memorable as it was my Dad's FIRST VISIT TO GOA. He really loved the hospitality of the host and has plans of visiting again

The location was easy to find and the overall vibe was warm and welcoming. We only stayed for a night as we had a flight the next day but we wish we had more time.

I stayed at this beautiful villa with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The villa was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. The outdoor space was especially amazing – perfect for hanging out, enjoying meals together, and soaking in the atmosphere. The host was super helpful and responsive, making check-in smooth and answering any questions we had throughout our stay. We felt very welcome and taken care of. It was the ideal place to celebrate a special occasion with friends – private, comfortable, and full of great vibes. This is a fantastic place to stay in if you want an authentic Goan vibe. Take this from a fellow Goenkar from Australia who had been to Goa 7 times. The house in Navelim away from the busy streets but a short 10 minute walk to the main municpality area where the shop/ groceries / sweets are. Ideal for Goa Supershow ICN bodybuilding stay (which was the reason for my visit). Has microwave, induction cooker, gas stove, fridge and more to get you through. Desiree (Host) and Mrs Rebello (house local contact) were very attentive to my messages and my requests which was greatly appreciated. Lots of bottled water and extra treats were a nice touch. Please ensure you are specific with guest numbers as no bedding provided for additional room if only 1-2 guests (We were two). Highly recommended for a true Goan / Portugese feel in a modern built house with AC.

We had an amazing stay here. The rooms are very spacious and we absolutely loved staying here. It is also very near to the beach and main road.

The place is beautiful and well-appointed. It is a 5 minute walk to a quiet and welcoming beach. We were a big family group and worked with the wonderful staff to arrange someone to cook meals for us. The one downside stems from the upside- it is far from cities and the main airport - Manohar and the taxis are expensive-equivalent to US prices. The fact that the resort resources-pool and restaurant- are next door is a big plus.
