VW California is a great small camper - robust and reliable as each VW Transporter and provides comfort and living space for 2-4 (we were 4, which is really the maximum). Several 12V and USB ports, incl 220V for charging laptops, cooker, fridge, water, bed linens. Loyd and his team were very helpful.

Such a beautiful place to get away from the chaos of a city life, I was able to reconnect with nature and thoroughly enjoyed my peacful intimacy in the lap of nature. This cabin in the woods was everyhting I was craving and looking for to disconnect and relax in a beautiful setting with the sea just a stones throw away and some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever experienced!

Staying at Suze and Nuno’s eco farm is like finding a gemstone - they are welcoming, sweet and the surroundings are beautiful. Please do go here if you feel like succumbing in nature and bliss for a while. Do not expect internet or using electronic goods, this place is for down time back to the basics in the right way. Also: the animals were a big plus for me! ♥️

Fiquei extremamente satisfeito com a minha estadia na autocaravana do Rafael! A localização era simplesmente maravilhosa – tranquila, com paisagens lindas ao redor e perfeita para quem busca um momento de paz e conexão com a natureza. A autocaravana Mitsubishi L300 estava impecável, bem equipada, confortável e cheia de charme. Rafael foi um anfitrião exemplar: atencioso, prestativo e sempre disponível para garantir que tudo corresse da melhor forma possível. A experiência superou todas as expectativas e certamente recomendo a todos que procurem algo diferente, acolhedor e memorável. Obrigado, Rafael!

Luis was great to work with and provided all the info I needed for the van. An upgraded newer van was offered as there was an issue with the van I booked. I had an amazing 3 weeks touring Portugal and Andalusia in the van, which was a joy to drive. Everything worked well except there was an issue with the battery not charging enough with just the solar panels to run the fridge. This would be solved by plugging the van in overnight, but I was wild camping mostly, or overnighting in spots with no electric hookup. Overall I can't imagine a better way to travel and see the sights, completely self contained in a cozy van. I'll be booking again!

We had a great time with the Van. Everything was as described and expected. It is super nice to travel with a van if you want to explore a lot of different places in Portugal in a short amount of time :) But of course it helps to already know van life and the pros and cons of it 😁

Wir waren insgesamt 10 Tage unterwegs und hatten sehr viel Spaß mit Emma – wir haben den Van so getauft, da sie so süß eingerichtet ist :) Man braucht etwa 1 Tag um sich an diesen alten Van und die Fahrweise zu gewöhnen, da einfach alles etwas mehr Zeit braucht. Hat man sich dann daran gewöhnt, ist das Unterwegssein – bevorzugt auf Landstraßen – einfach toll! Mit einer Maximal-Geschwindigkeit von 80 km/h ist die Reise sehr entschleunigend und stressfrei. Emma ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, das Bett ist super angenehm zum Schlafen und unten hat man (wenn das Bett nach oben geklappt ist) genügend Platz zum Verweilen. Die Kommunikation mit Ricardo & Cristina war super! Bei Fragen haben sie sehr schnell geantwortet und waren immer erreichbar. Im Vorhinein haben wir von ihnen ein Dokument mit wertvollen Tipps erhalten, was zu beachten ist, welche Orte sehenswert sind und wo man übernachten kann. Wir würden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

My bf and I we choose Cristina’s van for our first van experience across the country! We have been loving it every second, the van was easy to drive and reachable from the airport, Amazing experience and Cristina was so lovely!

Para mim e minha esposa foi uma experiência muito boa e gostamos bastante de rodar Portugal com o Pachucho. O veículo é realmente antigo, como na foto, portanto faz um pouco de barulho (que rapidamente nos acostumamos). Porém não tivemos nenhum problema mecânico durante toda a viagem (rodamos quase 1500km). Uma dica que eu daria seria somente evitar as estradas com pedágio, pois o carro não corre muito e a cobrança para esse tipo de veículo é um pouco mais alta. Sobre as acomodações tudo estava funcionando perfeitamente, com exceção de um único item da cozinha (mas que de certa maneira foi remediado pela Catia e Miguel). A autocaravana conta com diversos itens essenciais para um bom acampamento, como cadeiras, mesas, churrasqueira e etc. No geral foi uma acomodação bem legal e nos hospedariamos novamente sem problemas! Se você gosta de vida selvagem, essa é realmente uma boa opção custo/benefício.

Die wunderschöne Fatima von Christina & Ricardo 🩵 Mit der kleinen, türkisen Knutschkugel einmal die Küste entlang in Portugal mit entspannten 80 kmh tuckern war einfach nur schön! :) Natürlich hatten wir nicht alle Vorzüge eines neuen luxuriösen Campers, aber gerade das hat es zu einem noch besondereren Erlebnis gemacht. Fatima war uns eine treue Begleiterin & für die Woche ein schönes Zuhause. Super entspannter Check-In, tolle Kommunikation, fast alles (bis auf Toilette) im Camper und ein echt fairer Preis. Wir sagen D A N K E S C H Ö N 🌻
