Monthly Rentals in Sharperton

We had a wonderfully restful weekend in Sundial Cottage. The village is extremely peaceful and great for reaching Cheviot walks or visiting Rothbury, Alnwick or the coast. The cottage was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. We loved sitting outside in the morning suntrap of the rear yard and the afternoon suntrap of the pretty little garden at the front! Great to be able to light the wood burner in the evening too.

Quirky barn conversion - cosy with a modern en-suite. There's a heater if you get cold and a map of local walks. The landscape is stunning and history enthusiasts are in for a treat - Iron Age hillforts, a burial mound and rock carvings within the grounds of the farm! Rachel was warm and friendly, and quick to respond whenever I sent a message. I'd say the only downside is that you do really need to be a car driver. A perfect place to get some nature therapy and recharge your batteries.

A very well equipped and quiet apartment on the edge of Rothbury in easy walking distance of local facilities. It might have proved challenging to find but Matthew's directions were easy to follow. Everything we required was available and although we did not meet Matthew, he responded immediately to any inquiries we made.

We very much enjoyed staying at the forge (a family of 5 + Bert the Cocker Spaniel). It was spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable, and cosy. Our children loved playing on the tennis courts in the evenings. The location is lovely and peaceful, with Sheep for neighbours. It was our first visit to Northumberland and we hope to make this an annual visit. Mary was a great host, and we didn't have need to contact her while we were there, as she had already provided us with everything we needed for a lovely stay.
