Holiday rentals with lake access in Shawinigan

This Airbnb was exactly what we needed! It's a peaceful escape in a beautiful location right on the lake. The cottage has everything needed for the stay, making it incredibly convenient. The host is responsive and friendly, which made our experience even better. I highly recommended it if you are looking for a lakefront cottage!

Place has a beautiful scenery & outdoor lake patio. Nurtured spot in the woods worth visiting any season of the year. Jacques was pleasant to speak too and generous. would surely visit once again.

Was a very beautiful and comfortable space. Looks even better in person than the photos! We were able to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. The kitchen had everything you need to cook all your meals. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay!

Magnifique chalet, bien équipé. De grandes fenêtres laissent entrer le soleil, une belle terasse pour prendre l'apéro, un spa pour relaxer, une glissade pour amuser les petits. Nous avons adoré.

Me and my family had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful house! The home was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities I could have asked for. Waking up to the stunning view of Lake Chenin from the house was truly a highlight and made the experience even more special. The house was equipped with everything and anything you need and had all amenities .The peaceful surroundings and thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like a home away from home. would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and cozy gateway

Excellent séjour chez Gabriel et Daphné ! Le chalet est très agréable, bien agencé, avec une belle luminosité. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer des moments à relaxer avec le spa, la cuisine est très bien équipée pour préparer des repas gourmands. Gabriel s’est montré disponible et très flexible ce que nous avons grandement apprécié. De plus, le logement était très propre et bien équipé et les instructions et règlements sont bien détaillés. Nous avons adoré notre séjour !

Agréable séjour dans ce magnifique petit refuge dans la forêt. Le site est tranquille donne accès à de beaux sentiers de randonnée. On reviendra certainement 😊

A group of our friends gathered for a long weekend, and we stayed at the Chalet. Nancy was amazing with clear check-in instructions as well as instructions for the hot tub. The property is absolutely lovely. We all had a great time relaxing in the kitchen and family room, as well as eating outside on the patio and enjoying the hot tub later at night. It was also the perfect ending to our honeymoon as my husband and I got married last weekend! We could not have asked for a more perfect location to spend time with our friends. The place was super cozy and had a really welcoming vibe—just perfect for a summer break. Also, Sophie was a great host, always quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. I hope to find the cabin in future as well for my next visit.

Johanne’s place was great, a very restful and peaceful stop over on my bike trip! Very well equipped just like home and I was beyond thrilled to be able to cook my own dinner. The place is beautifully situated next to the water and I enjoyed hearing all the different birds in the morning :)

Great stay, very clean, great host. Our only complaint which has been mentioned before is the noise from the bar next door until 3am.

We had a lovely three days at Daniel’s chalet. The place was brand new and super clean, and the queen bed was very comfortable. Despite using just a portion of the house, we still had enough areas for the two of us to work, nap, cook, and play board games (both indoors and on the patio). Lake Thomas is beautiful, but the only issue we had was putting the kayak into the lake - there were floods just before we arrived, so we would be knee deep in mud when entering the kayak. Swimming was much easier to do, as we jumped into deep water from the quay. When swimming be sure to try out the little green and white floaties - they’re so much fun! 🙂 At the time of our stay, the space between the chalet and the lake was rocky (there is no grassy areas) and unfinished (as per the photos), so we couldn’t sit by the lake except on the quay. We are feeling refreshed by the water and calmed by the quiet nature around the lake, and would surely return! Thanks, Daniel!

Beautiful home and stunning location, the pictures don’t do the Airbnb justice! Perfect place for a relaxed weekend away. The location is set right in the middle of a wooded area next to a small lake so the bugs are numerous (to be expected when in nature), so make sure to pack lots of bug repellent and afterbite cream!

Très bel endroit. Grand et accueillant. C'était parfait pour 2 familles. Nous avons été aux glissades de St-Jean-De-Matha à seulement 20 minutes. Je recommence ce chalet. J'ai apprécié la rapidité de réponse des hôtes. Merci

Nous sommes venues quelques jours en couple afin de nous reposer. Le logement est un havre de paix. Il est très bien équipé, la literie est très confortable. Le logement est bien pensé et la communication avec les hôtes en amont et pendant a rendu le séjour d'autant plus agréable. C'est de loin notre meilleure expérience Airbnb. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si l'occasion se présente.

Demeure alliant charme et confort. Malgré une arrivée plus tôt que prévu Marie-Pier nous a accueilli avec gentillesse. Quartier paisible avec les services à proximité. Parc régional de Portneuf à 25 minutes où randonnées et canot vous attendent à des prix très attractifs (juste ne pas oublier le répulsif à moustiques). Séjour excellent

La maison est très confortable. Les équipements sont suffisants et pratiques. La vue et le bord de l'eau sont sublimes. Les hôtes sont accommodants. Malgré la proximité de la 155, le site est très silencieux.

Mes amis et moi avons passé un superbe séjour! L’emplacement du chalet dans la forêt était paisible et idéale pour nous puisque nous désirions relaxer, passer du bon temps et profiter du lac et des embarcations offertes. L’hôte nous a fait part des instructions claires à suivre et a répondu très rapidement à mes messages.

L’emplacement du chalet est tout simplement incroyable. Nous sommes allées durant l’hiver et c’était chaleureux, mais nous avons regretté que la température nous empêche de profiter de l’extérieur puisque les installations avaient l’air super et il y a une véranda qui surplombe le terrain, c’est magnifique. Les chambres étaient super, il y avait tout le nécessaire et même plus. Yannicke a été très patiente avec nos nombreuses questions et surtout très réactive.
