Arnold cozy cabin

Only one block off of Hwy 4, walking distance to stores and eateries. One bedroom with one double size bed and a large loft, (up the spiral staircase) with one double size bed. Sheets and Towels are provided. Nice deck for outside dining. Dog friendly! (The yard is not fenced). Note: A small air conditioner is in the living room. It is a cabin in the mountains so it will not be as toasty as home. NOTE: Verizon works, AT&T has little or no reception in this area.

The cutest little air bnb!! I have decided we’ll be back every memorial weekend because we loved the house and the town so so much. So no one book it that weekend please and thank you 😂🙏🏻 Hosts are phenomenal and overall experience was top notch. Couldn’t recommend more.

It's a super peaceful, clean, comfortable, and spacious place. If you want to disconnect from everyday chaos and find complete tranquility, I highly recommend this place. Hosts are very responsive and there to answer any of your questions. Calavera Caverns are a 3-minute drive from the place, Murphy's wine tasting room and restaurants are a 30-40 minute drive, and Calaveras Big Trees National Park is a 45-minute drive. We'll definitely come back!

We had a great stay at Kristin's place. We brought our wakeboard/ ski boat and the neighbors next door moved their car for us so we could park it in the driveway, so nice!! Quiet location, very clean, having air conditioning was a plus, it was very hot that weekend, and being able to walk to the downtown was great. We will for sure book her place again!! Thanks, Nicki

Valerie's place was wonderful. It's in a beautiful and peaceful location. Valerie provided alot of helpful details about the home, the location and things to do. It was so helpful. She checked in with us, the day after we checked in, just to make sure we were doing well. The home is stocked with everything you might need, even things you didn't know you would need. Our trip was a mother/son trip to celebrate my son's high school graduation. Valerie even left a bouquet of balloons for my son to congratulate him on his graduation. Such a thoughtful gesture. Penny’s place is truly a hidden gem—a peaceful escape from reality. My husband and I both work, go to school, and juggle raising kids, so we were long overdue for a quiet getaway to reconnect. Sanctuary in the Pines was exactly what we needed. It’s calm, quiet, and surrounded by nature—perfect for slowing down and just enjoying each other’s company. You really can't describe the experience fully in words... you just have to go and feel it for yourself. Penny is hands down the best host we’ve ever had. She’s incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and always responds quickly if you need anything. Her warmth made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. If you're looking for a place to relax, recharge, and reconnect, this is it. One tip: don’t make the same mistake we did by arriving late at night—come during the day so you can enjoy the gorgeous drive in and take in the views. Thank you, Penny, for such a special and unforgettable stay!
