Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Shelter Cove

Wonderful little quaint get away spot. Super comfortable and well decorated and furnished! Will love to come and stay here again!

This is such a beautiful home! I loved the decor and amenities. The views are great, its within walking distance of local businesses and trails. My favorite was just sitting in the recliner and reading. Im definitely bringing the family next time. Its spacious enough so people wont feel crowded.

The place is as described. The drive ti shelter cove is exciting and beautiful, but winding. Shelter cove a beautiful town on lost coast of California. The wildlife abundant: deer, frogs, stellar’s jays, and birds.

Wonderful place to stay. Pristine pool was an immediate hit and even tried out the sauna stocked with essential oils. Thank you Justin

Great location, ocean view from the deck to enjoy a glass of local wine. Very friendly and responsive hosts. The neighborhood is so quiet that you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean crashing into the rocks. The house was clean and well equipped. Abundant wildlife roaming the streets. We really enjoyed our stay in a hidden gem of Shelter Cove.

We had a wonderful stay at Alessandra’s house. The views were absolutely stunning and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The home was spotless and clearly well cared for, which made us feel comfortable right away. Alessandra was an excellent host—her communication was prompt, clear, and helpful throughout our stay. Everything we needed was easy to find, and the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Host Jarod was super responsive. I only had to reach out one time and it was for something I wasn't doing correctly. Our girl trip was more than we could have ever asked for. The amenities offered made our stay soooooo simple! This location is fully stocked and offered anything you could ever ask for or need. It was so nice to have a nice washer/dryer available! The pictures of the rooms don't do them justice, and the beds were very comfortable. The bedet in the master suite was a HUGE surprise! Haha. All photos on the airbnb site are very accurate and of course our favorite spot was sitting out on the deck taking in the gorgeous views and sunsets. During our stay there was even a mild earthquake in Fortuna causing ocean waves to get jump higher and break harder which was a site to see. Dangerous and beautiful all at the same time. Instructions left for guests could not be more clear. We are already thinking about another trip and when that happens, we'll definitely return here!

lovely, comfortable accommodation in walking distance of airstrip. ocean frontage, love to hear waves crashing in. Fridge and freezer in room as well as Keurig for a morning coffee. Only thing missing really was some glassware to pour water/wine. Right next door a great B'fast place/lunchroom called 'Surf point', highly recommended.

The rocky cliffs waves crashing view is wowzy. The roads to get there are a bit nerve racking if your used to mostly flat roads.

We had a wonderful time at Black Sands Inn! The location was incredible, and the room was very well decorated with comfortable furnishings. There's a cute coffee shop next door and good restaurants nearby. You can't beat the beach access directly from the room. It was a really gorgeous location and a cute little apartment. We wanted to move in and never go home. We'll be back!

This Airbnb was an absolute dream! Tucked away in a peaceful, picturesque location, it offered the perfect escape. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—like sleeping on a cloud! The host’s customer service was top-notch, making us feel right at home. We also loved the charming local bar just down the street—great atmosphere, stunning views, and the friendliest locals. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Spectacular views: waves crashing onto tide pools right outside of your private balcony. Open, airy & tastefully decorated space— I felt right at home from the minute I arrived 🤗 cute cafe right Nextdoor (with ocean views of course), friendly & inviting brewpub an easy walk away as are another breakfast/lunch spot overhanging sea cliffs & a yummy Venezuelan restaurant 🇻🇪🥘 I overheard a waitress say to a customer “yeah, we’re kinda the only game in town… except for the other place” …a place so remote could get away with any quality of food & service, but you wouldn’t know it while you are there: the food and service were both excellent 👌
