Mark had a gorgeous property, perfectly appointed and pristine. He was a superb host, very responsive and so helpful. The forested lot provides a peaceful and private location just a short hike to the Shenandoah River. The surrounding natural beauty and wildlife were the highlight of our stay. My partner and I stayed at Eugene’s cabin for a weekend getaway from DC, and it was exactly what we needed. The cabin is peaceful, private, and perfectly set up for a couple’s retreat. We loved the cozy atmosphere, the well-equipped kitchen and the fun selection of board games for the evenings. The jacuzzi and fireplace were highlights that made our stay even more fun! The location is fantastic, just a short drive to Shenandoah National Park, local vineyards, and the Luray Caverns. Eugene was a wonderful host! responsive, friendly, and made everything super easy from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated how available he was for any questions.

There's nothing to complain about at this place. The house is as pictured. it was clean and Annie responded to our messages immediately. Our group had a great time.

We had a great time at Corey’s cabin! My 3 year old asked if we could move there - so it got his approval, too! Views from the property are beautiful. Nice fire-pit and as a young family, it was nice being able to do a load of laundry before we came home. Corey gave clear communication before and during our stay that helped us relax and have a great time.

This is our second property stay from this host group. We have enjoyed both mountain top locations and truly felt like we could disconnect, relax, and have a few small adventures with our pup. Truly Amazing Views!!!! Clean neutral colors and updated amenities. Easy to find things to cook with. **Also- Shout out to The Italian Job Pizza spot. We had crazy rain which delayed our getting to the house from DC, so we shifted from cooking to ordering in and they delivered!!!!!

This is an amazing home on a mountain side. You have a spectacular view of the mountains and the sunsets were incredible. The home is well furnished and tasteful. The beds very comfortable. It is a restful location and no need to go driving around. I would stay anytme.

We had a great stay! The cabin was situated in the woods, very peaceful and quiet! The house had such a cool, quirky vibe. The hot tub was definitely enjoyable, and the fire pit was a nice touch; we made yummy smores by the fire. Would definitely recommend the AVA cabin to friends and family! :)))

The host was absolutely amazing, friendly, and ensured everything our stay. The cabin itself was a gem: peaceful, quiet, and nestled in the most serene location. It was impeccably clean, thoughtfully furnished, and had all the amenities i needed for a relaxing getaway. The surrounding nature added so much charm, whether it was enjoying coffee on the porch, stargazing at night, or just soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. This place truly felt like an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a cozy retreat!

House was as described and comfortable. It is a peaceful area and our dogs loved having lots of yard to play and run, and patrol for deer. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch rain and shine. It would have been nice to have a Keurig coffee machine but the kitchen is otherwise well equipped. Beds were all comfortable and house was clean. It was nice having a washer/dryer to use. The gas grill and hot tub were both a plus. Great place to visit when you want to bring the pups with you. Not a lot to do in the area but a visit to the Luray Caverns is worth it as well as a ride along Skyline Drive. For little ones, there is a playground behind the local elementary school as well as a nice one in Luray. Walmart, Food Lion, Dunkin, and other stores are conveniently located in Luray. Triple Crown BBQ was a hit for takeout and Chop House Bistro was excellent for dinner out. As is clearly noted in the home, ticks are plentiful so dogs should be checked regularly - we found a few on them daily.

We love staying at Levi’s with friends. We usually take over the place with some of us in the cabin and others camping along the creek. The kids run feral and the adults hang out around the fire. It’s a great break from real life. Just do me a favor and don’t tell too many people about this gem.

The location is supreme and the house is charming. The ride into town is easy and as to be expected quite beautiful. Perfect house to unplug, unwind, relax and enjoy family time or reconnecting as a couple.

Stay was great! Peaceful getaway but still close to food/ towns. House was extremely clean and comfortable and if you have to unfortunately work internet was great. Had a few small issues and hosts were immediately responsive and jumped into action and checked in. Lots of good hiking trails by as well that are pet friendly. Would definitely stay again.

For sure will book again 10/10 experience especially last minute host responded for a late booking did me a big favor the view was immaculate and peaceful 100 percent recommend

Had a great stay. The picture windows and deck overlooking the wooded lot is incredibly peaceful. The owners home is visible from the drive but not from the loft itself so it feels secluded. I was worried the small fridge wouldn’t hold enough for a several day stay but I was wrong and cooking/preparing meals in the loft was easy. Host is communicative and provided clear instructions for check in/check out and how to use various kitchen appliances, the AC, etc. Game room was a fun addition though we mostly choose to relax in the loft or explore nearby hiking trails. Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again!

We had a great stay at this cabin in West Virginia. It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The setting was peaceful and private—perfect for unplugging and enjoying nature. Whether you’re sitting by the fire pit, enjoying your morning coffee on the porch, or exploring nearby trails, it’s an ideal spot for a quiet escape. We’d definitely come back!

The cutest little cabin. Perfect for a getaway/hiking trip to Shenandoah National Park. The cabin is exactly as described, had everything we needed, and it was SO clean. Hosts were very responsive when I asked for local recommendations. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Our stay was excellent and exactly what we expected. Loved being away, having quiet, and enjoying the beauty of Virginia.

Jake & Kendra's place was a perfect fit for my wife, granddaughter and two fur kids. The place was clean and very comfortable. Beds are very comfortable which is huge because we are picky. We appreciated all of the extra amenities for the dogs even though we bring our own stuff. We don't have small children but thought it was great they had a highchair and child friendly dishes. Jake and Kendra are great host, super friendly and excellent communicators. Everything was perfect, so we didn't need to reach out this trip but they reached out to us multiple times just to make sure everything was ok. This is the second time we have stated at the Treetop Cabin and we will definitely return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Weekend Getaway in Basye! My family stayed at Jeff and Christie’s beautiful property for my husband’s 40th birthday. I can’t say enough great things about our weekend stay in Basye, VA! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cabin was spotlessly clean, modern, beautifully decorated. Jeff and Christie were incredibly thoughtful and communicative, making check-in a breeze and offering great local recommendations. The views were stunning—especially the morning view on the deck. We spent our days relaxing and enjoying the scenery and visiting Bryce Resort (just minutes away!) The peace and quiet of the area is unbeatable, and you can really feel a sense of calm and connection to nature. We left feeling very refreshed.

Nice quiet, peaceful retreat in a quiet little town nestled up in the mountains. Had a great time here, there’s a fantastic little brewery that’s a very short drive (you could probably walk it but we were unlucky with the rain our entire stay). Master suite bed is a very comfy memory foam mattress. Clean bathrooms, clean hot tub, really all you need for a quiet getaway to the mountains

Sundance was everything we hoped and more! The pictures really don't do the view or the river access justice, they are breathtaking. The back wall full of windows and sliding screen doors made us feel like we were in the middle of the woods even as we were sitting on the couch, which is exactly what we wanted. The kitchen had all the necessary tools and the cookies and coffee were very appreciated! Easy to spend the day lounging by the river roasting marshmallows and hotdogs on the firepit, playing cards on the deck and watching the sunset over the mountains, or hopping over to one of the many nearby hiking trails. We'll definitely be back.
