Our home is in a quiet & family-friendly neighborhood. The place is cozy, clean, & sanitized. Guests have a private entrance to a whole floor with 2 bedrooms, private bathroom, living room, small kitchenette and a study area. We live upstairs. Guests have excellent internet connection. Close to highway 81, JMU, Sentara RMH hospital. We are 20 miles to the National Park, and close to several restaurants. Ideal for short-term stays. There is a dedicated parking spot and tandem parking is possible.

Situated on 10 wooded acres and surrounded by farms on rolling hills in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, our recently-updated 5-bedroom, 2.5 bath home is the perfect place for your getaway. We are just 15 minutes from JMU and downtown Harrisonburg, and 25 minutes from Massanutten. Take a walk on the trail, birdwatch, visit a neighboring vineyard, or chase sticks with your pup--- there are so many ways to unwind at La Casa del Bosque!

The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

This peaceful cottage has a rustic, yet modern feel to it. It is set on the edge of a wooded area with plenty of wildlife to enjoy, near Massanutten Resort. Enjoy the ambiance of the small electric fireplace, well-equipped kitchenette and dining area, or the front porch swing. The bathroom features an old-fashioned claw foot tub, fitted with a shower head. Enjoy a complimentary bottle of sparkling cider and a basket of snacks with your stay. For generations, the barn was used to milk the dairy cattle on our farmette nestled at the foothills of Massanutten Resort & the Shenandoah National Park. The Dairy Barn makes a perfect small gathering home place. Just wait until you see the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the lofted bedroom & the breathtaking foliage from the screened porch.
