We had a group of 3 families staying here for Memorial Day weekend. Elizabeth's house is great for spreading out and enjoying the peaceful scenery. The house is spacious and clean. And it is a 30 minute drive from a lot of activities - such as rafting on the American River. Good food and beer places within 15 minutes. Glad we stayed here!

We had a great stay. The house is very clean, and the kitchen is fully stocked. Awesome balcony for eating breakfast and viewing the forest. Surrounded by trees, it feels peaceful and serene. Close to the Safeway, which is just a few minutes drive. Quick 10 minute drive down to the lake for hiking. Fast wifi. Good climate control including central AC and heat, as well as a house fan. Very responsive hosts. Check-in was easy with clear instructions. We look forward to staying again!

Beautiful home well maintained, you can tell they love it and want others to enjoy it as well. Anastasia and her husband were both available if needed and took care of any small items that came up immediately. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again if planning another trip out that way ♥️

One of the best Airbnb places I've stayed. Doris was very responsive to anything I needed and she and her husband were both very friendly and helpful. This property sets next to a field with horses and beautiful woodlands and green meadows. Very quiet & private, but very close to major urban areas with entertainment and restaurants. I went to this little oasis for a personal yoga and meditation retreat I put together. It was perfect. The generosity of the hosts in stocking the refrigerator and kitchen with special food & drink items was above and beyond. I felt pampered. I will return for sure.

We had a wonderful stay. The surroundings are beautiful; Hillary is an excellent host; the property is super clean; and its location is perfect. Great restaurants, wineries, outdoor activities, Gold Rush history and unique shops are all close by.

Vintage 1857 cottage is gem and stepping through the front door was eye-popping! Cozy, charming, and historic describes the space perfectly. The kitchen is fully set up for cooking with every possible amenity. Both beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was well-stocked, and we felt at home right away. On request, Rebecca set up a lovely welcome bottle of champagne for our celebration and supplied a few breakfast items for the morning. Outstanding service and communication! The tiny, historic town of Amador City is adorable with a few quaint restaurants, cute shops, a small museum, and near hiking trails. A perfect location from which to visit the string of historic gold mining towns along highway 49. Would love to stay again! Thank you, Rebecca!

The cottage was lovely. Danika was very welcoming. We will definitely be back with a big group and take advantage of all the cute cottages that Danika has. Coloma is a cute little town, some good option for breakfast/lunch and dinner and we had a great time rafting. Loved everything about it!

Mickey's place is within easy walking or driving distance to our relatives whom we visit regularly. Just the type of place we need, beautiful in the foothills, quiet and peaceful, and accessible to grocery or other needs. Mickey was very accessible, thanks for everything, Mickey -- we'll be visiting again!

Great little hideaway a block off of Main Street in Angels Camp. Good access to nature and historic mining towns. The bed was very comfy, and the separate living area provided wonderful relaxation.

My husband and I had stayed at Cynthia's place several times before and always had a great experience. As I was traveling to the area by myself for the first time, I was happy to see that her place was available for the dates I needed for my grandson's high school graduation party. Cynthia is a great communicator both before and during the stay. This has always been may experience with her. I feel like she is an old friend now. I appreciate the snacks and well stocked coffee/tea station. My little dog and I had a great stay. Thank you, Cynthia! I will definitely be back!

Penny’s place is truly a hidden gem—a peaceful escape from reality. My husband and I both work, go to school, and juggle raising kids, so we were long overdue for a quiet getaway to reconnect. Sanctuary in the Pines was exactly what we needed. It’s calm, quiet, and surrounded by nature—perfect for slowing down and just enjoying each other’s company. You really can't describe the experience fully in words... you just have to go and feel it for yourself. Penny is hands down the best host we’ve ever had. She’s incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and always responds quickly if you need anything. Her warmth made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. If you're looking for a place to relax, recharge, and reconnect, this is it. One tip: don’t make the same mistake we did by arriving late at night—come during the day so you can enjoy the gorgeous drive in and take in the views. Me and my friends had a great experience staying here, it was so easy to check in and get situated. The suite was so spacious and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The hosts were very responsive, and made this weekend getaway so pleasant.

This condo is a clean and well decorated one bedroom, one bathroom second floor unit. Bogdan is a very thoughtful host, there were extra blankets, sheets, and towels, which were appreciated for my weeklong stay. I also noticed condiments and single serve coffee creamers were provided along with a small basket of books/toys in the laundry closet if you have a child visiting/staying with you. The location is in a very nice area, close to both shopping and restaurants. I thought the bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic, and I also really liked that the entrance’s door lock code was tailored to me personally, making it easy for me to remember and difficult for others to figure out. I’d recommend staying here, and definitely book again.

I had a wonderful stay at Douglas’s penthouse. Everything was very clean, the kitchen had everything I needed, and all amenities worked perfectly. The location is amazing and ideal for walking to the many restaurants and shops in town. Parking was easy and he was very communicative throughout my stay. I would absolutely return, thank you Douglas!

I cannot recommend this place enough, the best experience I have ever had with a host by far. The place was exactly as advertised and Matt was extremely helpful with local recommendations and always being responsive. I instantly felt at home, and am so glad I booked the stay. The location is great with beautiful outdoor activities and trails all around. The experience was a 20/10, definitely book if you have the chance!

Stayed here while my Mom went in for major surgery at Kaiser Morse. Perfect location for our base only 6-8 minutes away. We were able to visit 3 times a day and weren’t exhausted from commuting an hour + one way. Secure parking spots.
