We had the best time! Amazing house and host. The heated pool and fenced in backyard were perfect for enjoying family time. The entire house was very clean and organized with everything we needed. The host was extremely proactive with communications and responsive for the few things we needed. Highly recommended!

Great host easy to communicate and the place was as described and pictured. Overall experience was excellent.

Nice escape from the city, very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the house was great! Ashley was prompt to respond and we felt right at home. The nearby shopping center was also super convenient for last minute needs.

This rental is absolutely wonderful! The unique and creative decor, the fantastic pool/waterfall and the separate apartment made for a really fun time for our family. The welcoming gift of wine was nice surprise, the towels were fluffy and bed linens were crisp and clean. I highly recommend booking this property!

The pictures did not do it justice! Much prettier in person. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need. Plenty of towels and nice neighbors.

Great little apartment.

What a wonderful place! This listing is exactly as described. There is lots to do at the home - between the lake and the game room, we were never bored. Fun restaurants a few minutes away. Streets are windy and narrow with no sidewalks, so walking is at your own risk. Torrey is super responsive. We needed more of some items and she was quick to supply us with most everything.

Giovanni was an incredible host. Very responsive, friendly, and outgoing. The home was a perfect place for my family and friends to gather from several points of this country. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a lake getaway vacation. In addition, I also recommend if you need a boat to look up boat rental company Lake Norman Stay and Play. Wonderful place to enjoy the lake. From the hot tub, fire pit and kayaks we enjoyed it all. We fished from the dock, some catching their first!! The optional pontoon boat rental was icing on the cake! We made great family memories.

Alexandria and Tyler were the perfect hosts! Their place was BEAUTIFUL and spacious enough for my group of friends! The house was well equipped with everything we needed! Alexandria responded quickly and had great recommendations for things local! Their place is perfect for a weekend on the lake! They are only 6 minutes from lake Norman and close to a lot of stores and restaurants! I highly recommend!

Felt right at home at Tora & Gerald’s place. By far our favorite stay. The house wasn’t too small or too big it was just perfect for us 3. Didn’t have to wait long for a response. They made us feel very comfortable. We loved it. Will definitely book again.

This beautiful home was perfect for our wedding guests for a busy wedding weekend. We loved sitting out on the spacious deck overlooking the water and visiting with everyone. Just a short distance from Chickadee Hill Farms if you’re looking for a good place for your out of town guests.

This charming cottage-style home was ideal for our getaway. It was clean and ready for use, conveniently located near the water, restaurants, and shopping. I appreciated having chairs on the porch and near the fire pit. Anne was proactive in her communication and replied promptly. We had a lovely time and recommend this location for others looking to disconnect.

Dear Robert and Charleen, Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. The Bird House is truly a gem, and you are blessed to own it. The pictures on Airbnb do not do the house justice. As I entered on Wednesday, my breath was taken away; the views of the lake and natural light filled every room. The beauty of the natural surroundings, together with the well-thought-out interior design and appointments, made our experience one to remember. My mother and I truly had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving. You had very clear notes regarding how to work everything (the blinds). Clearly, a lot of thought was put into what would make guests comfortable (lap blankets and a variety of lighting with dimmers), and all of the items one would use at home were in the kitchen, enabling us not to have one worry during our stay. We hope to return during warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors.

We had a great stay to celebrate my husband’s first Father’s Day. It was great to have direct access to Lake Norman and we had a great time kayaking and swimming with our 10 month old. Lake Norman State Park was just 15 minutes away and we had a great little hike there.

We had 6 adults staying in this home and it was perfect! The view was awesome! Loved how the home was situated in a cove at Lake Norman. It was very private which made kayaking enjoyable. The boat ramp was only 3 minutes from the home which made it convenient for docking our boat there! We enjoyed the fire pit which overlooked the lake. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at the property on LKN. The house was absolutely perfect! Everything was clean and we felt right at home. Kitchen had everything you could want and there were plenty of linens. A welcome bowl with a s’more kit was on the counter and a rep for the host called the first day to check in on us and answer any questions! The cove on the lake was peaceful. We definitely give a 5 star rating and would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful—peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved being right on the lake and swimming off the dock. Denise was a great host: responsive, patient, and helpful with all our questions. Highly recommend!

This was a peaceful stay for my family. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the fire near the lake every night. The kitchen was well stocked with small appliances, dishes and cutlery. Spices were a nice bonus. The tree swing was a pleasant surprise for our kids! Some noise can be heard from the road nearby but not enough to detract from the stay. Property management requires a short-term lease in addition to Airbnb’s agreement which was advertised in the listing, so be advised. Would love to stay here again!
