Which in Shetland is a rare sight; as trees are hard to come by. If you're a bird watcher or keen walker then you'll love staying here. The House was in fact featured on BBC's Scotland Home of the year in 2021. The judges praised the house as being a place of comfort without losing the traditional feel of the croft.

Peerie Bugarth Self Catering Shetland

This traditional stone croft house was fully renovated & extended in 2015. It now has a light, modern interior, holding on to some traditional features. 3 bedrooms are light and in neutral colours. The open plan living kitchen area boasts a vaulted ceiling and country cottage style kitchen, with walk in larder cupboard. Relax in the evening in front of a roaring fire, or explore the beach which is just a 2 minute walk away! A great location to explore Yell, Unst, Fetlar & the north of Shetland.

Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Driftwood Cottage

This traditional cottage has been recently renovated to provide a modern, quirky and cosy home away from home. A scenic, relaxing setting to get away from it all and a great base for exploring Shetland. With magnificent sea views, Driftwood provides beautiful coastal walks from your doorstep. During the summer months, your nearest neighbours are Shetland ponies who may peer over the fence to say hello. There's plenty of outdoor space to enjoy watching local wildlife along the shoreline.

The large glass fronted living space offers a beautiful view of Whiteness Voe with its abundance of flora, seal life & wildlife. Your host has an extensive local knowledge of places of interest and areas to visit.

Baliasta Chalet, Unst.

Modern, newly refurbished chalet in a quiet area of Baltasound. The property is light, airy and surprisingly spacious. It’s in a perfect location for exploring Unst, with its many beaches, walks and interesting places to visit, as well as the neighbouring islands of Yell and Fetlar. Conveniently located near shops and within walking distance of the leisure centre. The chalet has many features to make it more accessible including a ramp, accessible toilet & shower if required. Set in the picturesque south end of the town known as The Lodberries, No 5 Kveldsro Gardens is a one-bedroom house with a sofa bed in the lounge. (Linen is provided for sofa bed on request and is suitable for 1 person) The iconic Jimmy Perez house as seen in the TV series "Shetland" can be seen from the kitchen window. The town centre is a few minutes' walk along the seafront. You can relax in the patio garden after a busy day exploring your surroundings.

Wethersta Cottage is located on the Shetland mainland and is ideally situated for exploring all parts of Shetland. Conveniently situated near the village of Brae, easy driving distance to anywhere in Shetland. Our cosy cottage is deceptively spacious with 2 good sized bedrooms., kitchen/diner, lounge area, shower room, decking area and large parking area. Small pets are welcome, as long as they are house trained, and you tidy up after them.
