Welcome to [3Re: Kura], a private inn that has been reborn into a comfortable space while retaining the good qualities of an old house. We are trying to see if we can make use of the house with a warehouse. My imagination is running wild, thinking of turning the warehouse into a theater room. The warehouse has a BBQ set, outdoor chairs, outdoor tables, fire pits, etc. You can enjoy a tent sauna and BBQ in the large garden. The operator of the guest house has changed as of August 2026.Please note that the services, house rules, etc. are slightly different for repeat guests. We renovated a 2-story storehouse built in the Edo period and turned it into a guest house. Although it is not spacious, a kitchen with an IH cooking heater has been set up on the first floor, while retaining the atmosphere of a traditional storehouse with earthen walls and thick beams.Fully air-conditioned on the 1st and 2nd floors for a comfortable stay.You can experience the sound insulation, the coolness of the summer, and the warmth of winter. There is a sauna facility about 5 minutes away by car, Anekawa Onsen about 15 minutes away, and Kita-Omi-no-Yu about 20 minutes away. There are many sightseeing spots unique to Nagahama, which are often the setting of history. In addition to the area around Lake Biwa, Japan's oldest railway station building, Nagahama Railway Square, Yanmar Museum where children can play, Kurobai Square, and other activities other than history. You can also enjoy gourmet food such as Omi beef, duck dishes, grilled mackerel somen, noppei udon, salad, bread, duck, and small ayu.

The nearest stations are Ryukoku-daimae Fukakusa Station on the Keihan Railway (1.3 km, 17-minute walk) and Inari Station on the JR Line (1.5 km, 20-minute walk). We have started a free pick-up service upon arrival at Kyoto Station. The meeting point at Kyoto Station is about a 4-minute walk from the station. Of course, we will also provide transportation to Kyoto Station after check-out. We do not offer transportation services to tourist attractions, so if you wish to travel by car, please use Uber Taxi. It will arrive quickly and is convenient. However, we will flexibly provide free transportation to the nearest station on a daily basis, so please rest assured. Facing south, sunny, convenient transportation: Keihan Demachiyanagi Station, exit 4, a few minutes to the southeast. Shimogamo Shrine and Kyoto Imperial Palace are within walking distance. Ruyiju is a house with three separate bedrooms and a large living room, three toilets and two bathrooms. The parking lot of this house can only be used for ordinary cars and small cars. The large parking lot next to the house is actually the neighbor's parking lot and cannot be used. Large vehicles can be parked in the paid parking lot or the free parking lot of the RV home 800 meters away.

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream.
